Just another Friday fun day!

How in the world does someone resist this
extraordinarily adorable photo???
Let's just say not me!!!  It's all about my feathered friends for

I spent a wonderful day crafting with my friend Anne-Mette, who is from Denmark, in London, Canada!!!  lol I know, that may be a bit confusing, but I promise that's a true story!!

Anne-Mette had a lot of fun with my Altenew Leafy Canopy set, and taught me how to color the stamps with Zigs Clean color brushes - direct to stamp, spritzed with water, and stamped onto water color paper.  I thought the technique would be wonderful for Fusion Rainbow Birds!  Today, I've used another borrowed set from my friend Marcia and PTI!

Hope it's a hit with the Fusion designers!

Oh my goodness gracious! This is stunning, Michele. You did that with Zigs?? What a glorious blend of colors! So soft and pretty. Thank you so much for sharing this delight. And how fun that you got to craft with your friend, no matter how funnily confusing it is to read where you played.

Wow, wow, wow on the inspiration photo and your card Michele! How fun to have a crafty day or so with a friend from so far away. To funny about where she is from, all over from the sounds of her location! lol Very cool and I love it. Ok, now that she taught you, you need to teach us! lol I love, love, love how your sweet little birds came out on your card and I am so loving that beautiful watercolor background. Those bird are an identical match to the inspiration photo! Hugs, Brenda

You used the perfect technique to make these love birds look soft, fluffy, and sweet, Michele! I love the blend of the soft rainbow colors and the background wash. The thin white frame just fits the scene and gives a finished look.

Goodness, this is so amazing! Of course, I love the birds but those colors are so stunning! You really captured the look of the inspiration photo. Love that sentiment too! I just bought that set from Birgit! Sorry I haven't been leaving comments lately. Checked your blog daily but had so much on my plate, I just gave up getting comments typed anywhere. :(
