Inspired By... sea scape #33

I knew just the set to reach for this week, as I was immediately Inspired By the anchors on those sweet frosty candles!  my card called for a frosty base, with one of my favorite supplies:  vellum!

"You can drop the anchor on our beach any day, matey!"

Perhaps you'll be drawn by the drift wood, or star fish?  However you're inspired, we'll be happy to see you in our sea scape!

Wow! This is fabulous, Michele. Your take on the inspiration looks fantastic with the twine and anchor.

Very cool...and you've reminded me that I have an alphabet just like that! I was looking for an "ahoy" stamp in my stash and couldn't find one, I should have tried to stamp my own! But it wouldn't have looked as cute as yours! Love the vellum card, too!

Beautiful take on the inspiration photo, Michele! Your anchor is perfect and I love how you wrapped the white cord around your textured panel! My fave is that you chose vellum for your base...Awesome nautical card!

I'm sure the picture doesn't do it justice, Michele. I need an up close and personal.

Could there be a better interpretation of this inspiration, Michele ... I think not! It's cool and stylish and so wonderfully composed ... love the jaunty angle of the lettering bobbing about on the waves! Hugs, Anita :)

Wow, I love you used the vellum card base for the frosty candles! Using the navy blue stripe back panel is so effective to create a nautical feel and it echoes the linen thread wrapped around the front panel. A fantastic summer card! Hideko xx
