It has been a mighty snowy Winter here in Michigan so far - record low temperatures, too! Wishing for a day of sledding on the snow covered dunes brought this card to life:
Sentiment from We Three Snowmen; Sledding Bun from Santa is Coming
The little clothes-pin has held Mr. Bun aloft ... here is the 'after' version, and I'm hoping to have a video on IG later - when my 'helper' gets home from work!
I've created my own penny-slider groove using a simple sloping die - cut twice!
And a few others to add a little interest, by just embossing them with an embossing mat.
Let's all run over to The Cat's Pajamas blog to see what my fellow Cat-Pack girls have in store for us ... then Make a Scene of your own!
Thanks for the visit!
And she starts off 2018 with a clever and fun bang! What a terrific card, Michele! I cannot help but smile at the fun this little guy is having sledding down the hill. I adore the extra sled tracks you've added, too. Thanks for sharing! Hugs. :)
Whee! That little bunny is having snow much fun. You're really getting into the slider phase, Michele. I wonder what you will make next?
Happy New Year, girlfriend! You are so clever, Michele! I love this interactive design and how you added additional movement to your design with the embossed ski slopes! Great idea to use the clothespin while he awaits the countdown :) Really fun card...I love it!
Well, it's not snowing here, Michele, though I'm still smiling at this little cutie! He's adorable and adventurous having fun in the snow ... what a clever (and cute!) design! I'll be playing along if his cousin happens to arrive in my mailbox in time! Stay warm in all that chill! Hugs, Anita :)
Happy New Year Michele! Your ski bunny is adorable. I love that you made an interactive card and had your bunny on a black diamond run. Whoosh!
Oh I can just see you whizzing down those snowy dunes with a big smile!! This is ever so cute and clever!!
We've got the bitter cold here, but little snow. And I hope it stays that way for the next few days at least! I heard a rumor that it's supposed to start warming up by Sunday...yeah, right... But this little guy, what a cutie in his little red sleigh! Love how you've used the clothespin to keep him up! Darling card. Stay warm sweet friend. Bev
No snow here but super cold. But bunny looks like he is having a blast on your snowy dunes! Love the interactive design with the additional embossings to add to the mood. I need to play with my NBUS that I ordered from TCP. Try to stay warm!!
I Love this fun and cute slider card, Michele! Using a little clothes pin to hold Mr. Bun aloft is a great idea aesthetically and practically. The sled marks are cool too! Hideko :-)
Too cute!! I love this : ) And what a sweet company name "The Cat's Pajamas" - It's like the "bee's knees" heehee I need to go check our their store : )
