It has been ages since I've played cards in a challenge ... this week's Color Throwdown photo grabbed me this afternoon, and wouldn't let go!!
I immediately saw dry embossing, with ink, and the darling Altenew Bamboo Roses have not had any attention yet - time to remedy that! My good old PTI clock die, and hands came in handy again!
For CTD438:
This little card will go to my neighbor who, in spite of feeling poorly, was kind enough to fetch our mail while we were gone... hope it does the trick!

Beautiful. I love all the texture the embossed clocks create.
Ohhhh, how pretty!! This is a pretty inspiration photo and I love how you were inspired. What a sweet neighbor you have (wish it was me ~ heehee!)
beautiful! Love all the elements!
Oh wow, this is amazing! CAS yet so much detail and texture! Love it and I'm sure your neighbour will too.
I wouldn't have though to use a clock die in this way but it'really ties in with the sentiment and and makes a good background for the florals. I have a clock die that I have never used. Very helpful.
this card would certainly cheer me up, what a gorgeous way to use these beautiful colours!
I bet she loves it Michele, its so pretty. Love your design and how you came to the decision of what to use.
What a lovely card this is Michele! You're cards are always lovely but this one is timeless. ;0) (sorry I couldn't resist). Really though, those soft flowers against that background is truly stunning! Hope you are well.
This is fabulous, Michele. I admire how you pack so much punch into a single card. A visual delight. I like all the textures and nuances in this deceptively CAS card. I'm sure your neighbor will be touched at your thoughtfulness. I hope it does indeed to the trick! Hugs! :)
Very pretty and I love that embossed background, it adds so much to the card in a quiet way!
So cleaver, and perfect for the challenge!
This is why I think of you as the 'Queen of Dry Embossing', Michele! It really provides such a striking detail and works perfectly with these gorgeous roses! Beautiful coloring on the petals and leaves, too...LOVE this card!!!
You haven't lost your creativity in your time away, Michele. This is absolutely gorgeous. I have to check out that die and embossing folder.
That embossing is amazing....what a fun card for your neighbor! That diecut clock is so "striking", too...no pun intended!
