Barb and I unknowingly play 'follow the leader' with our comments on Therese's fabulous YouTube videos. Therese has done brilliant things with Altenew floral layering stamps. Here is the card that Barb and I have chosen to CASE today:
Bobby was happy to bring along her Altenew stash last week so I could have a play with their layering stamps. I had a blast with the Beautiful Day flowers - are fantastic! [they might just have to come live with me! or maybe I'll go live with Bobby!!!]
So, Barb, here you go! I totally forgot the sentiment, duh, but I'll remember it before it goes into the mail, my friend!
Lucky ME to have that lovely embossing folder - wait. You're not surprised?
So. a question for you...
CASE = copy and steal, or share, everything?
I even felt guilty putting my watermark on it!!!
LOVED this 'virtual' play day with you, Barb and Therese!! Let's do it again real soon! xx
There are so many possibilities with Altenew sets! This one is unique and really gorgeous Michele! :)
Oh my friend, your card is brilliant and it definitely has your own mark on it everywhere, that Beautiful Day flower makes me so happy! I remember when I was making this card thinking, 'now what would Michele do with this embossing folder' because as we all know you are the Queen and I bow to you xx ps I think I even linked over to your blog for embossing folder ideas so maybe I should have credited you!
Glad I could accommodate. Now wait until you see my new peony bouquet set from Altenew. Absolutley scrumptious. We could play cards you know. We didn't make and post CASEd cards when we were together.
Oh, Michele...You have done such a BEAUTIFUL job CASEing Therese! No surprise here :) I love how you colored the bloom, and the leaves and sprigs are so elegant! Loving all the texture you achieved with your embossing folder, too! And, you got to play with the 'Beautiful Day' set...I'm so jealous!
It was great fun chatting, and getting to play cards with you again! Let's play again sometime!!!
Fabulous Michele, and I am not surprised you have that folder. I have lots of travel coming up, but I really want to play with you. August is looking to be a good time right now. So, I hope you'll have time then too!
This is gorgeous, Michele!
I'm lucky enough to have gotten that set for free... my local stamping friend had ordered it and there was something wrong with one of the leaf stamps, so they mailed her out a whole new set. Then, she gave her original set to me -- very sweet! She lend me the Wild Hibiscus set to play with this week... it's very nice to have friends who are willing to share their stamps!
Wow, I love your CASE card Michele! I love Altenew flower stamps and that peony one has to me my favorite. I so need to get that one! But I am also loving the one you used too, made for such a beautiful card! Love that you had the same embossing folder too. lol Hugs, Brenda
Just popped over from Barb's blog to see your CASE of Therese's gorgeous card. I LOVE your card. Beautiful bloom, and love the colours. Everything looks so amazing on the embossed background. I better get that on my wish list soon! :) Thanks for the inspiration. Loll
Michele your card is just so beautiful, awesome stamping! Your embossed background is a show stopper!
Truly a beauty! Love that folder...why do I not have any of these 3D's? Such a great CASE ❤️
Oh you girls are having way too much fun! :) Your card is just beautiful! You did an amazing job on your CASE of Therese's card! And yes, that embossing folder is super neat!!
There is a whole lot of prettiness here today!! Therese's card is marvelous and your CASE is as well. Beautiful coloring on your bloom and that embossing folder...wowza!!
Your card is absolutely gorgeous. Love the inspiration card, too. Now, off to see what Barb did.
Beautiful, Michele, and what a great way to play with TWO different friends at once!
Oh, what a FABULOUS EF, Michele and that flower is simply STUNNING!!!!! I really like the colours you have used for the flower - it works wonderfully with the pink bg!!!! I'm off to meet your two friends!!!!
Have a great day!!!
Just beautiful, Michele! LOVE the colors and the EF....so cool!
Oh wow, this is just gorgeous. I love that stamp set too, as well as the Peony Bouquet. Both are gorgeous and so much fun to color. And that embossed background works so well here. Just beautiful, and a great CASE.
Your card doesn't NEED a sentiment, Michele - it's gorgeous just the way it is! I'm having my own love affair with Altenew flower layering sets and Beautiful Day is a recent purchase that just arrived, so I was pleasantly pleased to see this post! Your peachy-pink flower is super - one of my favourite colour flowers in my garden (peonies & roses). Now I'm off to check out Barb's (The Enabler) creation :-) I see she's now "teasing" you with Altenew's Peony Bouquet set.
How fun that you and Barb had a play date, and oh, what a delight you've created for us! The embossed background (I have that folder plus its companion, still NBUS...yeesh! is the perfect canvas for your pretty coral bloom. Is that watercolour I see or ink? Whatever the case: stellar! Love this!
So neat! Love that soft pillow looking quilt background for your gorgeous bloom Michele! Whose embossing folder is that?
Oh, wow, what a wonderful CASE! That embossing folder is so cool--love the quilted look. And your flower is stunning. Love your coloring!
Oh, how I love it! I can't tell you how many times I want to CASE just the way you've defined it. I did pretty much that with a card of Laurie Willison's not long ago and had the same guilty feelings...but I loved the card so much I CASEd it again (twice). This is gorgeous, so no matter how it was inspired, I'm so glad you shared!
Absolutely beautiful, Michele ... such a gorgeous CASE of Therese's lovely card! All the dimension you created on that fabulous bloom is so wonderfully complemented by the texture-y embossing! How fun you and Barb played cards ... off to see her's! Hugs, Anita :)
Beautiful CASE of the Therese's card! Perfectly layered stamping and lovely arrangement of flowers! - Both are still very difficult for me to do :).
