Rotten bananas ...

... and lemons: when life hands them to you, make something to eat/drink ... my words to live by.  Right now life is pushing us to be stronger, more faith-filled, reverent, loving, and generous.  We're up for it.  What do I do first?  Cook, and make cards.

Just when I needed a smile, and just the right words, my newest arrivals from Wplus9 arrived:  Happy Birds!

Inside:  'Life truly is a balancing act ... we've got this.'

After stamping them all, I just couldn't help but
leave a few in black and white!
What a perfect feathered paper, yes?

Inside:  "... you're not feeling too 'chirp-er.'
Whatever we can do?  Consider it done."

That's it for me this week.  Thanks so much for hanging out with me for a bit ... it helps more than you'll ever know.

I adore your little birds, Michele - and this coming from someone who is terrified by real birds (seriously, the ravens are hippo sized here!). You've welcomed these little chirps with love and warmth! Fabulous..and yep, I want this stamp/die set, too!

I LOVE your cards! I actually 'had to' order from the US as soon as I saw them, so they are flying on their way to me right now and I can't wait (it's the Harper'ishness that I couldn't resist - I couldn't afford the PTI ink ones, but totally prefer these ones anyway, things always work out for a reason).

That Happy Mail you received resulted in 2 gorgeous cards, Michele (and I suspect, a LOT more in the days and weeks to come)! A fun stamp set indeed, as we can see by these cards. The Heart Juggling Birdie definitely put a smile on MY face, and I agree that the feather DP is a perfect backdrop on your 2nd card.

It's the way you use them and the sentiments you add that make these cards extra special. Michele. There are those darling thin frames again. It's becoming your signature style.
