Winnie & Walter 3rd Birthday Bash - Stenciling with Kelly
Kelly Griglione has a Stencil Challenge for us in the 3rd Birthday Bash at Winnie & Walter! Kelly, I did what you asked this time!
Creating a card using one of the many Creative Screenings that Winnie & Walter has to offer is something I should do more of ... honestly? I have a love/hate relation with blending! BUT today I used a wonder trio of pigment inks - what a difference the ink can make!
Armed with a bevy of W&W products, [instructions and a list below] I blended, die cut, stamped, and bedazzled on this card ... hope you like it! Here is a little close-up:
Thanks for the visit today! I'll be back with a super fun Hop tomorrow!
=] Michele
1. Stamped using a few various blooms and leaves from In Bloom: Anna's Flora
on water color card stock, using three Impress Fresh Inks: basil, ginger, and melon!
2. Die cut the 'hi' cutaway.
3. Stenciled an A2 piece of Neenah Solar White #110 card stock using Scenery: The Leaf Effects Creative Screenings.
4. Cut the smaller panel with Essentials: Audrey Cutaways
5. Stamped my sunshine sentiment from Sentimental Endearments and cut with the luggage strap from Noelle's Cutaways.
6. Adhered the outer frame, lifted with fun foam; added the inner panel directly onto the card base, lifted the perfect word, and bedazzled with the latest little gift from W&W - those lovely little glassine packets of sequins! and Stickles!

Oooh, how sweet! LOVE the stamped, diecut "hi"! So cute!
Nope, I don't like it one little bit. I LOVE it LOTS!! The stamping on the letters is so pretty as is the leafy background. Fabulous card Michele!
What a heavenly card!! Love the way you popped the frame and that stamping on the sentiment is yummy!! Wonderful design!!
Bedazzled indeed, Michele ... elegant and gorgeous ... beautiful blending on the background leaves, such delightful delicate stamping on the sentiment and I love how you've used the scalloped frame! Oh, and the shimmer and shine ... swoonable! Hugs, Anita :)
Gorgeous design Michele, loving that patterned sentiment!
Jaw dropping Michele. I absolutely love the floral stamps on the big HI die cut!
Love the embossing folder. Great cards!
The ink blending is splendid and the word die is subtle even though it is large. It's a great combinations of a variety of techniques that resulted in on outstanding card, Michele.
Oh, this is such a happy, cheerful card, Michele!!! Love the clever idea to stamp on the die cut word and it looks great against your lovely stencilled bg!!!!! Love how you've done the frame, too!!!! So sweet, my friend!!!!!
Hugz
Fabulous blending with the stencil and I LOVE the 'hi'! Cutting it from stamped paper gives so much interest to your design!
I think it's very cool how you made your cute little otters look like they were half in the water and half out! That is one trick I'm definitely going to have to remember!!! It really makes your card! Makes it stand out from most of the other otter cards!!!
This is darling. I so very much liked the flowering bits on your big HI.
Absolutely GORGEOUS card, Michele! Your layout is stunning, and I love how you blended your inks for the leaves...WOW! Your leaves are a true testament that sometimes pigment inks work better ~ Thanks so much for the reminder :)
