KandR Designs 300 Weeks of Inspiration Challenge

Kara of KandRDesigns has been teasing us all week with her wonderful celebration ... yes, she celebrates US each week, in her wonderful Friday Inspiration File, choosing cards that have inspired her - how awesome is she?  Very!

I've chosen a card from week 300 by the lovely Debby Hughes ...
 Debby #300:

but!  I didn't have the proper paper to color, nor the stamp she used [OR her talent] ... how did I begin to CASE her card?  I had to look no further than our gorgeous 12 Kits of Occasions*... ready to take a peek?

Thanks, Kara, for continuing to honor so many in your Friday Inspiration File ... the sweetest compliment a card maker could ever receive!

=]  Michele

p.s. thank you Lindsey for these perfect pretties!  Quite fitting as Kara was once part of our crew!

Oh my goodness! I am in love...in love, in love, in love with this card! Michele, it is one of my favorites ever! An amazing CASE and I'm so thrilled you were able to use the kit again. Oh man, I'd by this card. PS Your sketch was awesome and an idea came almost immediately and I even had time to make it last night. Yay!

Well, I am LOVING your crisp, clean take on Debby's card, Michele! Beautiful coloring on your bike and your color palette is gorgeous! I love how everything pops against the gray background, too...I think it's time for me to try it :) May I ask exactly which color that is?

Now, if you'd had the exact supplies as the very talented Debby, then you wouldn't have been able to make THIS incredible card. And I quite like...no...love! what you've done with your sweet dies, and especially that sweet little bicycle! One squeek-quin in the basket. Leave it to you to give us a bit of a grin! Pretty colors, fun dies, and lovely little embellies all popped against that pretty gray. Love this one!! Bev

Um, I think yours is every bit as lovely as the original. In fact, I "think" I might even like it better. That bike is fabulous and I LOVE the heart "balloon" with the string attached the the bike like you did. Your ROCK!!

What a gorgeous take on Debby's card! The darker background and the cute bike work beautifully with that scalloped border die. And the heart balloon? Too cute!
