Second Helpings! and a little THD #9

Kara's fun Week 300 Challenge is such fun, I couldn't wait to make another!

This time I'm CASEing someone that I have long admired, who doesn't post often as we'd like, but when she does:  POW Shazam,  fabulousness every time!!  I'm speaking of Cristina Kowalczyk of My Paper Secret!  and it's not the first time she's inspired me to make a card!

Here is Cristina's card Kara featured Week #139:

True to my way of doing things [insert guffaw here] I've taken liberties, but I think you'll see the original - she says with a hopeful heart - I've used a darling little Ellen's Essentials by Julie Ebersole Christmas set of house* dies, and turned it into a little Spring Easter card!

Goodness knows we've had snow for Easter in Michigan, but I prefer to think this die is indicating rain!!!

Truth be told, I was totally taken by the colors and well EVERY LITTLE THING about The Heart Desires Challenge number 9... you've seen the mood board, right?

Here's another card ... 'cuz it's FRiday!!!  and I think it really wants to play, too!

12 Days Companion sentiments

That's it for me, folks ... thanks for hanging in for this very long second post from me!

Wishing you the very best weekend!  xx

=]  Michele

* Cat Craig: those Little Pink Houses ... for you, and me!  thought by now you'd need me to change the earworm!

Oh, what a great post, Michele! Spot on with your description for Cristina, and I love how you CASE'd her card! Those houses are so cute and your 'raindrops' are super fun! Awesome take on the mood board, too! You sure know how to work those darling patterned papers, my friend...and, your chick is too funny! I also really LOVE how you added embossing on this card...so clever! Thanks for making me smile today...I needed that :)

These two cards are great takes on the inspirations! It's always nice to hear the creators thought processes behind them too! Such fun and whimsical designs! Thank you for making me smile!
