CAS[E] this Sketch #205

Just when I think Chrissy has tricked us into a bit of hard thinking for this week's Sketch, I had a light-bulb moment!  Here you go:

At first glance you might think four or five layers, right?  but Chrissy never said they had to be Rectangular layers!!  No. she never sets rules.

[you may think I've been hitting the helium =]

These balloon dies, from SSS, have been in my stash for years, and years.  They still are as fresh, and cute, as day one in my eyes.  I had a bit of a 'keren-baker-moment' leaving the balloon tops intact and raised above the card base ... it will require a 5x7" envelope, but that's okay by me.

Hope it's okay with Chrissy ... let's run by CTS and see what she created with her Sketch, shall we?

I love the patterned papers you chose for your balloons, and that you left their 'tops' intact! Loving the negative die cut sentiment, too...A really super cute Valentine card, Michele!!!

Fine, Michele, you can call it a "light bulb moment", but I prefer to see it as a "stroke of genius" - what a fun, bubbly Valentine's card!

Cute! Cute! Love the happy balloon layers Michelle. You're so good at thinking outside the box. I totally would have done rectangles... Wish you could send me some of your creative juices. ;0)

Fabulous! You are such a creative thinker! The balloons look terrific in those papers. I think the brads as highlights is super clever, too. The way you added the be mind with the string...wonderful creativity. You are amazing!

I love the way you think, Michele. I've had that balloon die forever also and I'm not sure I've ever used that big one. I love the papers and the way the stamped sentiment curls around the bottom of the balloons. Pinning for sure!

Too cool for words! I love when you exhume stash to give it new life - you outdid yourself. The stamped sentiment is perfect.
