Vicki is asking us to sharpen our die-cutting skills this week
I have had one of Altenew's designer's cards in my inbox for weeks now -
it seemed like the perfect time to take my cue from Aga!
I won't get into detail - it is Aga's use of die-cut leaves and making
them shine on a card that I'm featuring here. I used several leaf
dies from Altenew's Virginia Rose 3D die set to cut my leaves from white.
I 'scribbled' color on using Copics and Ohuhu markers to create
variegated leaves which were arranged across my panel
of grey-brown card. Enough telling - more showing!!

I like the variegated coloring of your leaves and the pop of color from the berries! Terrific card, Michele. Thanks for adding it to our Just Us Girls gallery!
The variegated leaves are amazing from my view! What a great way to do the coloring, and it adds such a special touch to your pretty card -- love it!
The barely colored leaves give a fresh, artsy look to your card, Michele, and they and those beautiful berries pop off the dark cardstock. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
It's beautiful and I love the variegated leaves and that wonderful dark background that makes your berries POP! Beautifully done my friend!! Hugs. :0)
THe arrangement pops on the darker background.

The leaves look so neat. Kind of like a hosta I tried to grow before another took over the area. Love the berries, too. Beautiful card, Michele.
Fabulous coloring of those leaves to give them a variegated look! Love the pretty berries, too. Really striking, Michele!
I'm a huge fan of Aga's layering style and you've captured the essence of her card in a CAS way! So striking against the dark background too.
Love your variegated leaves look great and along with the berries, they just pop on the dark background. I think you did a good job coping Aga's card.
