Second helpings anyone?

I'm back with second helpings this morning!  While it was a no brainer which photo 'grabbed' my attention yesterday, today that sweet, lonely little cabin in Bobby's mood board over at Just us Girls #758 needed some cheering up ...

I had just the set [and it hadn't seen the light of day before! OY!] one that I HAD TO HAVE from MFT and designed by Stacey Yacula.  I think it managed to add a little bit of cheer... looks like this little snow dude likes it!  The backdrop is embossed with SSS Forest Border, and it looks as if they had the same weather as we have had -

I added a bit of Christmas welcoming to it - can you find it?

Speaking of NBUS - another of SSS's little snowmen came to live with me!  I think Oliver looks very dashing with his lime hat and scarf - that sky is a bit more twilight than navy, but I don't think the girls at Color Hues [or my seniors] will mind!

Meet Oliver and his new abode Classic Cloche Duo - also SSS.
I added the starry sky with a gel pen but this sentiment is from that
aforementioned MFT set, too!

I'll be back very soon with a few more Penny Black cards - thanks SO much for all of your kind comments... so appreciated!
=] Michele

edited to add one of these to Darnell's fun NBUS challenge!

Oh, yum! Yes, please, I'll have a second helping... or as many as you care to dish out. You've turned that lonely cabin into the most welcoming place to be. I see the candles in the windows and, again, the awesome embossed trees in the background. I love the cloche for the snowman in your second card, too. The sentiment is a perfect fit. I know your seniors won't mind a bit about that pretty blue sky!

Yes to second helpings! Oliver looks cozy cute and I'm sorry I didn't get him--yet! The sky is definitely a navy hue so it's all good!

The ground and trees are covered with snow, just like I've seen in clips of Michigan and it's here too. But Oliver doesn't mind. After all he's made of snow. So cute and creative, Michele. The other snowman is trying to keep his cool by hiding out in the cloche. Thanks for sharing that card with us at Just Us Girls.

Two adorable cards Michele. Your little cabin looks much happier than the one in the photo. Love those embossed trees in the background, along with the hills and trees out front ... all covered in snow. Your snowman looks so happy and is ready to greet guests. :) xx

Both of your little snow dudes brought a smile to my face on this bitter cold morning! I especially like that first little fella. So happy to spot him in our JUGs gallery!

Such sweet cards! Love that little house - so welcoming with the candles and the snowman with his arms (branches) in the air.

I love how much warmth and cheer you bring to all the record-breaking frigid regions of the country, M! Both cards are a delight, but I want to buy that little Christmas cabin set back in the snowball tree woods with the pretty candles in the windows! You should be a storybook illustrator! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Happy New Year Hugs, D!

I love the design of the first card & spent quite some time dissecting it. Of course the CAS snowman in a globe won my heart as well! Thanks for sending second helpings to us at Color Hues!
