Hey, friends! I'm alive!

I've had a few friends wondering where in the world I am!  Nothing to worry about - just tucked in as is my usual Winter routine!   But the slump is real!

Leave it to Jill Foster to get me out of my slump... she released her first in a new Sketch series yesterday at the Penny Black YouTube channel.  Nothing like watching Jill watercolor those adorable PB kids to kick-start my creative juices!

Enter PB Growing Love:

If I were writing a sentiment for this one, it would read:
'thanks for being the teeter to my totter!' =]

Here are the products used for my layered Sketch #1:
Growing Love - stamped in Versafine Smokey Gray on Canson watercolor paper
PFS Stitched Scallop Rectangles
Penny Black Triangle Pattern EF
PTI Just Sentiments: You're on my Mind.

And because there was a little piece of that embossing left over,
seconds were in order:

I just switched out the frame this time to use PB Classy Frames

Thank you, friends, for holding me in your thoughts while I take my little January break!  btw I miss YOU, too!
=] Michele

I knew you'd be back with a Penny Black card (or two!) That sketch is so "you" and you didn't disappoint! Love your coloring and you framed your cuties perfectly! Jill would be so proud!

I was thinking about sending out the cavalry out for you, but leave it to Jill to foster your creativity and get you going. She does the same for me. I adore this sweet pair on their teeter totter. Your watercoloring is divine and the sentiment on each card is perfect. Welcome back, Michele!

Jill is good for tweaking our creative juices. This pair is so adorable and really needed to see some watercoloring! I love both ways you presented them too with the pretty frames! So good to see you post again. XOXO

Yes, welcome back indeed...you've been missed! Jill gets my fires going too, and you have used her 1st sketch beautifully with both cards! This couple is adorable and water colored perfectly too. Love the framing, the embossed background, and the wonderful sentiments also. Sweet, sweet cards my friend! Hugs. :0)

Well, I didn't know you were MIA cause I've been royally MIA basically since Thanksgiving. LOL. Talk about a slump. Hasn't kept me from purchasing of course. hahaha. I love this image. I loved teeter totters as a kid. These two are so sweet. Glad you're back at it. Hopefully I'm not far behind. Stay warm and crafty!

They are so adorable Michele. I love Penny Black stamps and watching Jill paint too. Jill got me going many years ago now I’ve lost count. I love your cards the colors you chose are so sweet on both cards. So glad your back I’ve had trouble with my iPad so I couldn’t see anything anyway. 💖

Somehow I missed this one. These cards are the sweetest and I just watched Jill's video, which I should not have, because now I need to go shopping. I love your and Marcia's PB work always, but I have steered clear as you know my stash situation... These cards are the sweetest and watching Jill's watercoloring technique and her fabulous sketches and what you do with these supplies.... well I am pretty sure I am in trouble. Again.
