Happy weekend eve, my friends! I have a few cards for you today - they couldn't be any more different!
First up a little tweetie for Freshly Made Sketches #669 by Narelle! Hopefully she will see that the head and body represent the two circles at the top right? ha!
Isn't he a cutie? I found this card base just waiting for him in my snippets box!
SSS: Layered Berry Bird cut from watercolor cardstock and colored with these Ohuhu markers:
My second card is for Color Hues #102 Navy and Lime - I have had my eye on this Altenew Balloon Flower for a while!
The hardest part of layered inking is keeping the top ink from blending.
I dried my layers this time, but it didn't seem to help much.
My friend and DT member Marcia influenced the argyle embossing [Spellbinders: Argyle Socks] on the left - thanks, sweet friend!
Last one! Just another gorgeous Betterpress plate I added to my Christmas stash - yes, I am continuing to add to my Senior cards for 2025 so there is never a question of making just one! This particular card will be sent over to Christmas Kickstart #94: Bring on the Baubles! His baubles are tiny but really do make him festive! The baubles were treated to a bit of sparkly Stickles!
Spellbinders: Dashing Reindeer on white BP cardstock; Hemstitched Rectangle Frame
This one is pressed on cream BP cardstock and framed by using one of my old EH Essential Rectangle dies. BTW these are the BP inks I've used in case you're wondering.
I'm slowly getting back to a rhythm around here - it feels great! hmmm I'm already wondering if you're tired of me again? lol

A trio of beauties--well, the first is a cutie!--all perfectly entered for their respective challenge. Grow tired of being inspired by your cards? Never!!
Beautiful cards Michele. Love them all equally. Thanks for the showcase. By the way, I did respond to your message the other day and it bounced back again. I have been away at my daughters for a few days so didn't follow it up. Back at home catching up now xx
Ohhh, I love all three! Your bird is the sweetest and beautifully colored, branch included. Such lovely simplicity. Stunning flowers in your second card with the navy and lime. Finishing up with a stately stag on your third card. You know my fondness for critters. You do a nice job of capturing the impression in your photos. So beautiful, Michele!
These are ALL so wonderful Michele... I cannot choose a favourite, but that BetterPress Reindeer, well. Oh Dear, it has my heart!
All 3 cards are beautiful Michele! I love your 1st card with the sweet birdie and your last card with the magnificent deer toting his baubles around...both GORGEOUS!! But yes, my favorite is your middle card that is so dramatic looking in the navy and lime...it is a STUNNER my friend!! And WOW did you ever make our challenge colors SHINE! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Color Hues...we always love seeing you in the gallery!! Hugs and stay warm!! :0)
Wow, Michele, you knocked it out of the park for all three challenges with these gorgeous cards! I get what you're saying about stenciling and the inks, it is a challenge, although for me drying between layers does seem to help a bit. Nevertheless, those big blooms are beautiful and the argyle embossing looks fab (good taste from Marcia, as always lol!). Thanks so much for playing along at Color Hues!
I will never grow tired of you or your wonderful cards! That's a darling little bird and I like those hearts dancing in the background. I've never heard of a balloon flower, but they're fun! Almost as fun as that reindeer with his festive antlers and flowing scarf!
It's so fun to see where you're creative mind and fingers go. My fave, the birdie is the loveliest and colored beautifully. Your BP reindeer remind me of all the years we watched deer up close from our country home in S Oregon.
Michele all beautiful cards! You I k blending for Color Hues looks very lovely, I don't see any blending with the top colour. I looks very natural. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Color Hues!
I can’t get enough of your creations……keep ‘em coming! Xxx
Oh, Michele, what a fabulous selection of beautiful cards. I especially love your dear deer, but all are lovely. Thanks for joining Julia and me over at Christmas kickstart - it's great to have you in the gallery again, Jo x
Will never, ever tire of seeing your fantastic creations my friend. That sweet little friend you shared first is just magical. Wow. I also really like the other, two, but that little guy stole my heart.
A wonderful array of creativity, Michele. That little birdie is the sweetest. I love his colors so much, and I love the way you used the sketch so much. How do you like the Ohuhu markers? Are they new? I don't remember seeing them before. I do love balloon flowers and the CH colors look wonderfu on these. Love the argyle background. And those deer with the baubles... I could not love them more.
Tired of you - not going to happen! All three of your cards are so gorgeous! Glad to see you are back in your rhythm!
I've been working up a storm these last couple of days and I see you have too, Michele. That bird is adorable and I love the branch he's on. Those balloon flowers are perfect in the lime green with the embossed navy background. It's always great to get a head start on Christmas as that deer is very festive in his scarf and matching baubles. Keep up the good work.
Three beautiful cards here Michele! Beautiful coloring on your sweet bird and berried branch and the Lime/navy combo on your flowers is gorgeous! And then we have your beautiful deer all dressed up in scarf and baubles! thanks for joining Jo and me at Christmas Kickstart: Baubles! Julia xx
That birdie looks like me after all those holiday treats! Adorable card! And the reindeer is soooo elegant - not like me at all! ;)
This bird is the cutest ever, Michele! He's all fluffed up to keep warm these cold days! Love that background too! The lime flowers really pop against the navy background and I love the argyle embossing on part of the base. I don't know how I missed this deer, and I'm trying not to be tempted beyond control! He makes two classy Christmas cards that could easily go to either a guy or a gal! Me tired of you? Never!
BTW, thanks for sharing those gorgeous flowers with us at Color Hues!
You are on a roll!! Three amazing cards and multiples too! Great work Michele! xx
Tired of seeing your cards? Are you kidding me! Bring them on in singles, doubles, triples, multiples! It's always a joy to see your creativity! Speaking of which, a fabulous trio here. I'm especially taken with your navy and green Balloon flowers: Gorgeous! As always, thrilled to see your talents in the Colour Hues gallery!
Hugs~c

I'm just back from a weekend in Georgia with a group from my church and catching up with blogs. What fun to find three fabulous new cards from you! That bird is just gorgeous, as is that fabulous Altenew Balloon Flower (new to me). From here your coloring looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
Your mojo and creativity are on fire, bottle some when you are feeling low. Each of these are wonderful. First, the little bird blew my socks off. Very creative with the sketch. Second, your gorgeous Lime and Navy floral is certainly stunning and bold. Last but not least, the deer is super cool mixed with grey. Who knew that color combo could be so appealing. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
Oh all these cards are true beauties, Michele! I'm totally in love with the one for FMS! That bird is tital cuteness! Thanks so much for joining us at FMS this week.
You have been MOST productive! These are all absolutely fabulous. Love that bird and the deer (must remember a brown and gray color duo) and of course that fabulous floral. Thanks so much for playing with us at Color Hues!
