Sadly, it has been so long since I've created a card for Altenew's Inspiration Challenge. But Aditi's prompt is so gorgeous, I just had to find a way to turn her pillow into a card. See it for yourself:
Here's a closeup of that pillow cover:
I did a deep dive into my Altenew stash and found a few sets that would do nicely:
Stunning Cosmos - for the main blooms
Lavender Bud - for the filler blooms
Embroidered Foliage - to represent the stitching
Elegant Sayings - for my sentiment
Ready to see them all together?
My panel started with a panel of Natural card stock from MFT - I sure wish they still offered it - it has lovely natural fibers running through it which I see in the cloth Aditi's pillow cover.
The natural color played with the inks just the way I'd hoped they would.
Here are the inks I layered:
Hope they like it - hope you do, too!

I think you've captured that pillow beautifully, Michele! You nailed the colors. This is a wonderful card!
Your flowers are a perfect match to the pillow. Absolutely stunning Michele. 💐
Those flowers are a great representation of the ones on the pillow, Michele. That picture had me stumped but you had just the right products to make it work (as Tim Gunn would say).
I think your card mimics the pillow perfectly Michele...absolutely beautiful!! Love the bright colors and how cheery it is too...lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
What a gorgeous pillow and an equally gorgeous card! Wow!
Your card garden grows as beautifully as the pillow garden, Michele! I love that your background has that bit of fiber like the pillow! So pretty!
Gorgeous take on the pretty pillow. Your blooms are gorgeous in those colors. I too with MFT still carried the Natural card stock. I still have just a few sheets of it.
What a lovely pillow and your card mimics it beautifully! You've got the colors down pat, even the paper texture and the stitchy leaves. I know they're happy to have you play along again!
I've got similar cardstock from Altenew... Spicy Yogurt and Moonrock (though they are a lighter version), and I can't see them at their store either. Crossed fingers they reintroduce them with their new cardstock range. LOVE this cushion and YOUR card!
Beautiful interpretation of the photo, Michele! Wow this is fabulous
such a wonderful take on the photo. You are indeed the color queen!
