No challenge, no deadlines - a just for fun few hours of play to share with you today! You know that I got the C&9th Spring print die for my birthday... and cut this:
From that I made a purple/blue card for Color Hues,
and a pretty cream, red, and green for Color Throwdown, too.
But still, I was left with dozens of pieces - so I put together
these:
Tom was blocking the light - tee hee!
And I found an even BETTER way to make a 'jig' for piecing
by using the die and an embossing mat...
Which made putting these together really quick:
Using some other elements from the die set and coordinating
stamp set I quickly had a set of 6 cards for a gift set for my fabulous
stained glass creating cousin!
Because I like to mix it up a bit, there were two that I left some of the
white un-papered:
and two that I added texture to using my SU! Subtle Texture
embossing folder before gluing the pieces down:
So, in the time it takes to watch a full-length movie on Prime,
I have a wonderful gift to give! OH, and this:
Packed away for a rainy Spring Day - if I can wait that long!

For those of you who are saying they can't find this, C&9th has the
bundle I bought right HERE!

Fantastic! They're all so beautiful and different. I can imagine how it would be hard to stop! Gorgeous colors and little change ups. I love this sort of play! Great idea for creating the base on which to build. What a wonderful collection! Just fascinating!
These cards are absolutely gorgeous, all the colors are so beautiful and like you said, kind of like stained glass. I went and checked them out as these are right up my alley with making flowers, I watched the video too, but I didn't order...yet!! I have so much coming already and hit a few of the good black Friday sales so maybe after the first of the year, IF I can wait that long, you are such an enabler LOL!!
Oh.my.goodness!!! You are a 21st century VanGogh!!! The different color combos with or without texture is jaw dropping gorgeousness! So happy you're enjoying the set--now to pull out mine!
Look at you go! I can't pick a favorite color combo because they're all so pretty and the textured areas add so much interest. Your cousin is going to be thrilled to open this sweet gift, Michele!

These are just FABULOUS! and you are such a smarty pants making the jig with the die. Your color combinations are fantastic (no surprise there). What a wonderful gift and perfect for Ms. Stained Glass!!!!!!
WOW, WOW, WOW!! You were definitely a busy girl this weekend Michele and they're ALL beautiful!! I'm loving all the different color combinations and texture too (gotta love that subtle ef!!), and what a perfect gift to receive a set of these beauties! Can't wait to see more...not sure you'll be able to wait for Spring!! Haha!! Hugs. :0)
You did a great job matching up those cuts into beautiful cards, Michele. Adding the embossing to some and leaving the background white on others shows both the versatility of the set and your creativity.
You are amazing, Michele! The cutting, the paperpiecing, the extra touches -- oh my!
Such patience and determination and still there is more to come. I shall look forward to that rainy spring day. They all look fab xx
