Me again! I had good intentions on playing along with Color Throwdown last week - you know what they say about the best laid plans, right?
Kelly Schirmer has the perfect color trio for Color Throwdown #822 - but instead of a Christmas card, I pulled a new-to-me set from Concord & 9th: Spring Print Dies [thank you darling friend for your wonderful gift!] I've had it on my radar ... well, since SPRING! lol
First up, that gorgeous inspiration:
Then! You have to see the load of fun I have to look forward to...
talk about a jigsaw puzzle!
Each piece has been assigned a number, and I have a 'jig' saved for future piecing!
[Thanks for the help, Tom!]
Okay - enough chatting... ready for my card?
All together now - using the cream for the background and the little postage stamp, and various green and red cardstocks - also from Concord & 9th.
Those of you who know me well know just how much I love a good jigsaw puzzle! 'Tis the Season! Thanks, Kelly for the lovely colors for its premier!

This is beautiful. Those colours work so well and I love the inlaid look. The little postage stamp is the perfect finishing touch xx
Happy to see how your gift "bloomed" and looking forward to seeing other color combos as well!
Oooh, this is fantastic! I love a good jigsaw puzzle, too, but haven't set one up in a long time. This looks like the most fun version of a jigsaw puzzle and so pretty!
Very happy to see you chose such beautiful colors. I love inlaid cards so much they raise the bar so much on a card . It looks so Perfect and the cute Postage stamp.🩷
Ohhhh, what a fun set! This is pretty Michele. My favorite part though, is that sweet little postage stamp you added!
Just bought this die in the Black Friday... with your inspiration, I can't wait to use it!!
What a fun die set and a beautiful card Michele! I love the picture of ALL the die cuts...you must have enough for 20+ cards, and I'll look forward to seeing all of them my friend! This is definitely a set I'll want to play with next time we get together!! Hugs. :0)
Oh my goodness, the end result is beautiful. I wish you happy sorting to make all of the pretty posies. :)
WOW! That's a lot of pieces! Kudos to you and Tom for figuring out the placement of all these pieces! You've used the perfect shades of red and green!
Beautiful card, and Winner-Winner for the paper piecing party! You have way more patience than I!
Me too! I love jigsaws but don't do them as often as I like... probably because I am making cards instead lol. This is brilliant Michele!
The first time is always the hardest when you have to figure where everything goes. Now that you know, you can make a ton more of those fabulous flowers in all sorts of colors. It is so beautiful in the bright reds and greens, Michele.
Jaw droppingly beautiful !I too rushed out ,well not actually rushed out but tried to find it on the interweb to no avail I might add. I love how dynamic it is and those colours .....sigh just sublime.
