Colorful Options: October 2024

My sweet friend Marie CASE'd one of my cards for her team card at Colorful Options - how could I NOT say thank you by playing along?  Oh, you'll want to play, too... check it out...

My heart went in so many directions! But in the end, I stayed true
to my slightly dramatic side drawing inspiration from the colors
and lighting in that left middle photo:

Stemmed Leaves from The Stamp Market -
Various orange cardstock from Concord & 9th, embossed to add texture with
SU! Timeworn Type - and their Subtle Texture on my card base, too.
Print and Script: With Love from Waffle Flower Crafts

I think I'll also send this one over to the Four Seasons Challenge: Fall

Of course I had to add a bird!  Thank you, Marie for the honor! x

What a great idea to add texture to the leaves with an embossing folder. I love the dark grey dramatic background and the tiny bird. What a lovely little finishing touch. I know Marie said she often ends up buying things she has seen you use. It is the same for me. I have my eye on that with love sentiment this time xx

I thank you for the honour of allowing me to case your amazing card and I was so delighted to see this beauty in our gallery at Colorful Options. Where do I start ? The colour, the texture the fantastic design ? I adore the texture on the leaves it works beautifully and dramatically with your super moody background and the white sentiment really pops against it. The addition of the little birdie is a great touch. Thank you so much for playing along with us at Colorful Options.
