First up: The Card Concept #51 Naturally Pink:
I've captured the pink using an embossing folder, and a technique I will use again tomorrow while 'playing cards' with a friend. LOved getting out my old favorite wood-grain e.f. on kraft, and a new favorite W&W Noelle's cutaway as the vessel. Can you find my little hidden fringe that represents the grass?
Next up, another little egg, this one for the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge:
Honestly? I don't have an egg-shaped die - doesn't cutting the bottom off of an oval make you think it is egg-shaped?! Works for me! This time, a little more on the CAS side of life.
- I've stamped my sentiment
- water-colored my 'egg' inside an embossing folder
- my choice was to actually emboss it! and adding a spritz of gold for good measure! 'cuz who wouldn't love a golden-glitzy egg?
AND to all YOU wonderful friends for the visits this week - hope you'll stop back tomorrow!!

Two awesome "egg" cards, Michele. :) LOVE the embossing folder stamping technique. You've done an amazing job with both your cards. Especially love the second card where you've also embossed and have all that gorgeous white space. :) Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
Fantastic texture on your Eggs! I Love them both. Thanks for playing at TCC:)
Michele, You are a good egg ---card maker! I couldn't resist. Sweet cards, fun and fresh.
Both cards are fabulous and I agree- the oval with the cut bottom looks like an egg!! Thanks for playing along with us at The Card Concept :-)
Really stunning cards! Love them :)
Yep, no egg dies here either, so an oval works perfectly everytime lol.
oh my!! That egg with the speckled look is just perfect!!
Gorgeous cards!!
Thanks so much for joining us over at The Card Concept!
Pretty neat technique you've learnt there, Girlie! Awesome cards, and I LOVE those gold speckles - gotta get me some :o) And, I don't mind if I do, come back tomorrow that is...
Two fantastic Easter eggs, Michele! Love those pinks and both are terrific examples of CAS mixed media! Thanks so much for sharing these with us at CAS Mix Up!
Works for me too and it is bigger when you use an oval. Love the first spotted egg-so fun!
Your ovals look like perfect eggs to me!! These are both fabulous and I do see the fringe. I'm crushing on the pink polka dot egg!!
What fun cards! The ovals work great and I'm loving the polka dots so much. Love the coloring!
Fab cards, sorry missed so many of your cards. Been away visiting Nonni. But thanks for joining TCC
You've got me hooked on that woodgrain EF as well - perfect for showing off the lovely pink egg (with grass "frill" on the side). You dazzled me with the second egg card - the pattern on that egg is awesome!
Two gorgeous egg cards, Michele! Love them both. Have fun "playing cards" with your friend today! xoxo
Gosh!! Michele, I wish the Easter eggs we color with the grandkids looked like these!!!, just so beautiful and colorful and, NO MESS!!!!!
But that's part of the fun, right? even my almost 18 y/o granddaughter gets her hands stained and my 15 y/o grandson, even if he acts cool, enjoys the fun, the little ones are in for the mess, we are convinced of that!!
Thank you for sharing.
Maria.
You are so clever, Michele! Love your woodgrain background to showcase those gorgeous eggs, and the effect of your 'watercolored embossing' technique is fabulous! Love how you improvised with your oval die, too :)
I think 'You' are a good egg, too...Happy Easter!!!
Two simply gorgeous cards Michele! Just love them both!
What fun eggs you created! Love these!
Cool eggs!!!

Oh Michele, I am totally loving both of your eggs cards! I think using an oval for an egg makes perfect sense, because they sure look like eggs to me. I love your little fringe on the first egg to represent your grass. I have to tell you I was really looking for it and then suddenly I saw it on the left end of the sentiment strip. Clever! Love how you embossed the eggs and love, love, love the water colored egg in the second card. Both are just clever and stunning! Hugs, Brenda
I just LOVE the bright colors in your Easter egg! This is amazing! Thanks for playing along with us over at The Card Concept!
Take Care!
