Crate & Barrel Inspired FMS 226 and Time Out!

One final play for the day ... I couldn't stop myself from trying to recreate another gorgeous pattern from Crate & Barrel's Spring catalogue!  Think they'll mind?  Oh!  I could do an entire week of C&B inspired cards!

I didn't have quite the paper I would have liked, but I'm pretty happy with the results of PTI's Soft Stone, and added a linen-like texture with MFT's Cheesecloth background stamp, and SSS Fog ink.  Avery Elle's Laurel stamps, with a few inks: SSS Smoke, Fog, & Lavendar;  Altenew Forest Glades & Frayed Leaf;  Distress Ink in Dusty Concord & Milled Lavender!

What do you think?

Avery Elle Laurel sentiment; purple vellum from Bobby's stash!

That one will go over to Freshly Made Sketches challenge #226.   Rita has created a darling sketch - a keeper, for sure!

I had another little panel done, so I snipped a bit of it to make a little runner of my own, and a card for Time Out who is asking for Spring  for their 2nd birthday!!

It has been FAR too long since I've played with Mama Elephant's Sweet Havana

Off to spend the rest of my Sunday with my best guy ... see you tomorrow!

To say you were inspired by C&B is an understatement! I love how you pulled out all those lovely colors to create the most gorgeous patterns on both cards, Michele! I think the DT at C&B would be so impressed...I sure am! Stunning cards, my friend!

I think you've taken that runner and translated it into a perfect card! I love the subtle texture from the cheesecloth stamp and the arrangement of leafy vines is perfect!

Maybe you should be designing your own linens, Michele. Your translation is pretty terrific. Love that Sweet Havana set. I put it on the share list.

These are both gorgeous cards. I love the pattern you made and think it is even prettier than the one in the catalog. I think I should stop throwing away all my catalogs without looking at them. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out this week.

There you are again with Crate & Barrel inspiration--so awesome! Love the runner and your fabulous designs! The colors are wonderful. You should be here with all the green poking up--an early spring in Kansas. We had three varieties of daffodils today!
