Plaid: the new black!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the many water-colored plaids I've seen around since the Online Card Class started... I hope to take part in that class some day.  Until then, I've been practicing on my own:

Debby Hughes of Lime Doodle Designs continues to be my muse.  Her recent pastel plaid gave me the inspiration, along with her gorgeous Pinterest plaid-inspired collage - I'm sure she won't mind if I share it here:

Spring plaid.

By now, you might know I cannot resist table linens.  Just look at that lovely in the bottom-right corner!!

A bit of jelly roll [pen] never hurt anyone - just ask Julia =]

I do have lots of work ahead of me, but today, I'm feeling pretty happy with this one!  Could you stand another?

Have a fabulous weekend ... thanks to Debby, for always inspiring me.  Thanks also to #Diane McDonough Jaquay, who has been sharing her lovely plaids with us on Instagram, and Facebook!

Your plaid patterns are absolutely gorgeous, Michele! Both cards are stunning, but I'm partial to the color palette on the first one! Love how you played with your die cuts to create your focal point, too especially the clever thin frame you added to both cards...swoon!
