Make it Monday #239 on Thursday!

I love my PTI products ... sadly this little set doesn't get much ink, but works perfectly for Lizzie's challenge to Customize Patterned Paper,  the latest Make it Monday Challenge #239.

Using one of the very first sets I purchased from PTI, Button Up, and their gorgeous Holiday Plaids paper:

The button holes could not be more perfectly aligned for the paper!
Sentiment compliments of  Warmest Wishes

I'm pretty sure everyone's grandmother had a 'house-dress' that looked just like this - and always had a hankie at the ready!

Thanks, Lizzie and PTI, for inspiring a little 'sewing' and stamping today!

Now, before I leave you, I wanted to share a little patterned paper of my own devices.  I cannot get enough of the 12 Days set ... and I am always inspired by my newest Crate & Barrel catalog!!

Thank YOU for the visit ... it keeps me smiling every day!

Wow, great cards! That Crate & Barrel inspiration? I think you just blew C&B's socks right off! Hate to say it, but yours is better...

What a great way to customize paper, I love that pattern that the stamp created, so unique, and the second card is just too fun. Love those hens!

Wow! You made that Christmas plaid your own with the button stamping. What a wonderful transformation. And the chicken card is adorable. Wish we had a Crate and Barrel, but I love visiting in big city malls!

Very fun buttons - I'd love a plaid shirt like that! You added a lot of interest to the patterned paper with those red button stamps.

Fabulous take on the Crate & Barrel inspiration! What a great idea to look there. Your chickens are so adorable and your coloring is great. Love the combo of plaid and the buttons too! I can almost see my grandma in one of her house dresses! Gosh, such a sweet memory--and of course there was always a hankie!!

Your button image and DP match perfectly, Michele, for your MIM entry. Great card! As for your unique, "designer paper", I think it's brilliant. If you hadn't said you designed it yourself, I'd have mistaken it for printed DP!

I had to come see if you made a card like this after seeing that Crate & Barrel image earlier this week. ;)
I love the simplicity of these designs! Simple, but so effective!

Crate and Barrel should hire you to make cards to accompany their products; your first one is genius! Your pattern reminds me of one of my grandma's aprons and yes, a hankie in one pocket and, when we were around, candies in the other. She had spoiling her grand-kids down to an art! Your beret-sporting chickens have me crowing in delight! Love em!
