A sweet little posy, and that darling, tiny little bow - you will teach me how to tie a bow some day, right Lisa?I recently purchased a large stash of Glitz Christmas papers [yes, it is Christmas paper!] One had just the vintage feel I wanted for my card for The Paper Players challenge #255 - a sketch from Sandy:
Okay: the tag, the narrow panel, the vintage-feel paper, an embellishment, die-cut, and string!! Check!
Thanks, Lisa, for the inspiration!
Paper: Glitz 'hello December', cardstock SSS; dies: tiny bow from Mama Elephant,
PPP Stitched Tags, Paper Smooches Borders 1 for pea vine, and Green Thumb 2 dies,
and Green Thumb stamp set for Pea Pod. The sentiment, all mine.
Hope you're having a lovely, Summery day! Thanks for sharing a few moments with me ...

Michele, you are so right! I swooned when I saw Lisa's card, too, and I agree that she works magic with her cards! However, I must say that YOUR card also made me swoon...I love the rich colors and sweet image on your card! Wonderful inspiration!!!
AWEsome choice of design paper and colours Michele!
Oh WOW!! I have had this sketch on my mind and I am LOVING how you used it. Those papers are fabulous-not that Christmasy. I love using holiday papers for something other then what they were supposed to be used for. I really like how you have the string "vine" coming down into that pea pod. Such a great idea. Fabulous card!!
Lisa has great style, but SO DO YOU!!! I just love this sweet floral creation, especially with that punny phrase! Thanks so much for sharing this with us this week at the Players!
Love the lush colors in your fabulous paper! And adore how you make designs your own by adding little punny sentiments. The tiny bow and trims are such sweet additions!
Love your gorgeous card Michele and your design is fab too:) xx
Michele, this is gorgeous. Those colors are so lush and the pattern is fabulous. Your sentiment is perfection.
What a pretty card (loved Lisa's as well)! ^_^
Gorgeous bold and bright DP, Michele ... a wonderful background to your sweet pea (!) tag ... love the detailing with the tendrills and twine! Hugs, Anita :)
Michelle I was bowled over by that beautiful paper, then my eye fell to the tag and that super cute sentiment and pod of peas - what fun! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
Oh, this is so cute, Michele!!! Love that beautiful dp with the bright flowers and the pea vine is just so fun - love how you have it hanging from the top with the piece of string, too!!!! Gorgeous!!!
Have a great day!!!
Lisa's card is beautiful and so is yours, Michele! I have that Glitz paper and have been holding it. I love how you used it for a non-holiday project!
Christmas paper!?! I need to shop where you shop, cos my Christmas paper doesn't look like THAT!! LOVE this card in its vibrant red and green. LOVE that paper, and your little sentiment -cracker! I love how you combine themes so effortlessly!
Love your take on the sketch and this pretty vintage paper! Beautiful card, Michele!
Fabulous...simply fabulous card Michele. Just love your take on Lisa's card and love that they both have that sweet vintage look. And your tag is over the top adorable...just so sweet.
Gorgeous--bright and cheerful. A perfect take on Lisa's card, and enough to inspire many more cards too.
Oh, I love word-plays! Love you to peas-es, lol! The colours on this card are BEAUTIFUL!! Love it!
You sure know how to make a girl put her hands in her pockets, give a little kick of her foot, hang her head and say "awe shucks"!!
I'm so happy I was able to bring some inspiration into your day. Your card is beautiful. That Christmas paper sure is versatile and the little pea pods tugs at my heart strings!!
Simply fabulous, Michele.
WOW! That paper is incredibly pretty, but what you've added to it - the sweet tag with the pea and its darling tendril - transforms it to outstanding! I haven't been using patterned paper much, of late...given your card here, maybe I'd best start doing so! Such a 'peas-ing' card in every way!
Hugs~c
