The Paper Players #738 Clean and Simple

Joanne has challenged us to keep it clean and simple for Challenge #738 at The Paper Players - Things that Fly!

Way back when, I created THIS card for a special Hop that I wanted to
recreate today after being inspired by DT member Jan Clothier's card.
Of course I would choose a butterfly, right?

It is a reminder to have Milkweed planted in your gardens for those Monarch butterflies
to lay their eggs - and lots of flowers for them to nourish themselves!
It's a bit early for our friends to be back but we are ready for them!

Thank you, Jan for the beautiful inspiration!
=] Michele

Thank you, Paper Players!

What a sweet reminder how wonderful our butterflies can be! Love the gentle, sweet pops of color on your otherwise b&w card too -- very direct!

What a beautiful and thoughtful design and I love it! The more Monarchs the better. I've driven through the Oregon Cascades during migration and it is a sight to behold, but it can be a perilous journey for the Monarchs.

What a fabulous CAS card Michele! The line drawn flower is perfect to highlight those tiny colourful butterflies and you're so right, we should all grow more butterfly-friendly plants. Thanks for playing along with our CAS 'things that fly' challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

Beautiful in every way!

The details are what make your card design extra special, Michele. The half embossed panel, the die impression, the jaunty angle of the flower. The colorful butterflies are the topping on the sundae.

I love this! The line-drawn flower is pretty on its own, but those brightly-colored butterflies just make me smile! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Players this week!
