A little bit of stenciling fun!

Ahhh the dreaded Monday - my sidekick had gone back to work after a fun week off and I got back to business as usual... with a side of laundry!

A little bit of stenciling was just what I needed, and I had a beautiful set from a friend to make my 'work' fun!  Thanks, lovely friend!

First, this wonderful PFS stencil set was treated to some bright colorful inks:

You might not think these would work, but I think the results are wonderful:

This darling little SSS Layered Berry Bird seemed quite happy about it, too.

One more for Easter... you know this happy (Waffle Flower Crafts) bunny has to make an appearance each year!

Here are the inks for this version:

Since I've used pastels, stencils, and florals I'm sending this one
over to my friends at TIME OUT!!

Now, I'd better get those Easter cards in the mail!

As pretty as that little bird is it's that sweet bunny that made me smile this morning! I didn't use that one this year... shame on me because she's a favorite! Two perfectly fabulous spring cards, Michele!

These bright colors work beautifully together and that bird is icing on this cake, Michele! And I adore that bunny with her pastel flowers and stenciled background!

What a beautiful stencil that looks so different in bold and soft inks! What a sweet little bird on the first and cute bunny with her floral headdress on the second! I even like the pics of your ink pads - makes me want to buy them all!! Julia xx

I swoon over all the pretty! The bunny and bird each look right at home in their stenciled gardens. I was compelled to look up the bird die 'cause you know they're my weakness. The berries and branch make this one even more appealing. Just window shopping for now. The bunny is extra sweet and adorable!

That chunky bird on the berry branch is so colorful, Michele. And that sweet bunny with her pastel headdress matching the flowers in the background is equally as cute and right at home with the stenciled background. Thanks for sharing her with us at Time Out.

Your bird card is cute with the stenciling, but that bunny card is simply adorable with those soft colors and your cute flower bouquet and head band. Love it.

Oh, how fun---one soft and one bright! LOVE the little birdie (of course) but that bunny is pretty darn cute too! Great stenciling on both!

I love the color combo on the first, and knew they would be wonderful together as soon as I saw them. I love that sweet birdie. And of course, I love your sweet bun. Those colors are fabulous with that stencil too. So nice to see her again this year. Sad to say, I made zero Easter cards this year. I was so happy to see the bun in the Time Out gallery. Great make for our Pick 2.
