A [much-needed] Playdate with Marcia!

I'm so thankful for the light and friendship my friend Marcia brings my way!  We had a much-needed playdate last week!  Today we'll share the fruits of our friendship and shared supplies with all of you... btw you are ALL there in our hearts!

Penny Black is getting the spotlight - is there anyone who doesn't adore their little characters?  Marcia had a few that I asked to play with again - and I brought a few sets for her to play with the last time the playtime train stopped at her house!

Ready. set. go.... I love this little tike so much that I thought I owned her... that was remedied right after I colored this one...

PB Sweet Sledder stamped in black and Copic colored.
Her little friend is from the PB Sharing a Song set.
I framed this scene inside one of the layers from their Double Frames set.

PB Bundled Buddies the look on this little guy's face says it all!  His buddy is
indeed 'opening wide!'  Cut with a Wplus9 rectangle die of yore and
mounted over a piece of PF patterned paper.

And then, this little sweetie that Marcia 'forgot' she had!  OH, am I glad
she found it tucked among her PB supplies!

PB Let's Chill is the star of this little snowy scene.
I love their attention to detail - look at that frosty breath!

Those PB Classy Frames... could be among my favorite purchases of the year.

Bobby sends me a stack of these embossed panels - I only have one left, Bobby!
It's perfectly drifting snow, I think.

I'll be sending this one to Just us Girls #752 Blue and Gold color challenge:

Can you handle two more?  Marcia generously shared her stash of Craft Consortium 3D Decoupage pages with me... such fun!  When done they reminded me of Christmas cards my parents used to receive!

Christmas Market

Christmas Carolers that I made into a shaker card!
[note to LeAnne - this might be a good stand-in for that blue
Concord & 9th Powder]

The sentiments on both of these were in my stash.

Okay. that's enough for today... thanks so much for stopping by!  I'm off to see the wizardry Marcia has up her sleeve using my sets - you'll join me, right?

Oh Michele...I love them all!! Totally in love with how you colored the sweet sledder and had her pulling aa polar bear instead of a brown bear! Glad you decided to make her a part of your stash!! It slays me how you think of the bundled buddy as a boy when I've always thought of her as a girl, but you sure dressed him up looking like a boy and he's adorable!! Your little Let's Chill girl is so sweet in her blue & gold coat & scarf and I just love that frame you've used around her! I am head over heels in LOVE with how you did the Craft Consortium images on both cards...especially the shaker! Sweet, sweet post and I didn't want it to end Michele! So glad we both could still find joy in "that" day last week and come up with so many cheerful and joyful cards between the two of us...it was definitely the best way for us to spend the day together! So incredibly thankful for your friendship my sweet friend! Hugs. :0)

These are all so lovely. Such sweet little images. You are doing so well with your Christmas cards. I hope making them is proving to be an effective distraction xx

The cuteness level is off the charts here today! Love the outfit your first little darling has on and the way you've framed her and her friends. I never thought of that little bundled buddy as a boy, but I can totally see it now! Don't forget to add your cute little lady to our JUGs gallery ;) Love her polka dot scarf. Your final two do remind me of the marvelous cards our parents used to receive. Folks just don't send cards like they used to, do they? My parents used to receive oodles in the mail everyday leading up to Christmas. Now it's just a handful for the whole season :(

You have done such a beautiful job with those PB kids, Michele. I have a few I've done but not posted yet. I love the vintage look of those decoupage pages. I'm glad you and Marcia had such a great day sharing.

Darn, I get so carried away with my comments that I forget I'm supposed to acknowledge your entry into the Just Us Girls challenge. I'm so glad you sent that darling girl to us.

WOW! Your two really outdid yourselves with this playdate, Michele! What sweet little characters in their winter gear! I can't decide which would be my favorite! Each is wonderful! And the decoupage cards remind me of old time Christmas cards. I may still have one that my Aunt sent me years ago but it wasn't this cute!

You and Marcia have a true bond that goes beyond friendship. You are both blessed to spend many hours crafting together which we all know is good for the soul. Love your Penny Black cuties as always and the CC decoupage cards are simply amazing!! I don'r know if I'd have the patience to line up all those layers so I'll just admire your cards!

Yes, they remind me of Christmas cards of my youth that my parents used to receive. I absolutely adore them and that shaker card...... oh my! So glad you and Marcia had some paper therapy together.

When you and Marcia get together good things definitely happen! I'm so in love with every one of these cards. The first just has to be my favorite. Precious! What utterly sweet characters for Christmas. And the decoupage cards are just mind blowing! There aren't enough superlatives to express the adorable fabulousness of all five!
