A VERY quick post to share the newest addition to my every-growing collection of embossing folders!! SO in love with Foxgloves - from Lisa Horton @scrapbookcom - you guys I couldn't quit with the inking!
A few tips:
- Ink first - the side that will create the background with a water friendly ink
- Give your cardstock a light mist of water, then place into the un-inked side of the folder
- Close the folder and run through your die-cut machine! Voila!
What a stunning folder - I cannot wait to buy more @lisahortoncrafts !!
Happy weekend my friends!!

How gorgeous Michele! Even with soft inked backgrounds, the color just make the flowers pop. I'm going to have to check out her folders. Thanks, my enabling friend 😄!

It is a beautiful EF indeed, love all the fine details. And I adore these excellent impressions you've created!
Gorgeous! Foxglove so reminds me of my beautiful mother... What a gardener she was. xx
You've created a run on Lisa Horton embossing folders. The texture is so impressive. Adding the color just makes it pop out more prominently. Gorgeous.
Oh, my word, I had to go look. You've blown my mind with the beauty of these. I do love embossing folders but mostly use them as backgrounds. I'll be turning over a new leaf after seeing these. Love LOVE your watercolor background technique. Must try!
OMGoodness, what a beautiful embossing folder! I can't wait to see how many ways you use this beautiful folder my dear! Hugs, Brenda

Wow! These are amazing, Michele, and reminiscent of our days inking folders but which such elevated results!
Beautiful! And have an amazing weekend at the summit -- sounds like fun!
Wow, beautiful foxgloves with amazing dimension, Michele! I googled Lisa's 3D eb folders just now, and they are all fantastic (and a lot of them are sold out)! Thanks for the tips!
Hideko xx
Wonderful detail on that folder, Michele. It looks beautiful in any color.
These are just beautiful, that is such a good technique. I am looking forward to seeing what you make with them. I have been browsing Lisa Horton's website today (it happens when I can't get myself to focus!) and think I might end up falling for her 3d embossing folders. I already love her dies. I have resisted today, only because I had already spent money somewhere else! xx
Stunning is an understatement!
My jaw dropped when I saw this. This EF is stunning and so is your inky treatment. I might have to go shopping, I think...
