Two Sketches, besides CTS, caught my eye this week … see if they spark your interest, too. First up... MFTWSC451 short for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge - phew!
I did get a little 'tipsy' with this one, too … and OH do I love a parade... this little marching band has not received it's due of ink!
MFT London Mouse, Hello [snipped], Stax pierced rectangles, and Stitched Strip
One more, from Freshly Made Sketches week 3 of their 40oth Sketch celebration!! Of course they chose Sketch 300 for it! And I chose to add another Christmas card to my stash. This time I grabbed a few of the gorgeous Alexandra Renke papers* from that wonderful prize I won last year! The 'wish you were here' die is still available, as are the house dies I used to cut that panel … guess what? They're on sale, too!
Okay, off I go to the galleries! Thanks for sharing a bit of your Saturday with me!
=] Michele
*papers not available at Ellen Hutson... but SO much more to love on sale!

So cute! Jo x
Oh that clever first card...love it and that you took the h of hello! So brilliant. Your second card is fabulous, too.
I spy two winners here! Love the red and gray on both of them. But that "ello, did me in! I can see Nicolas Cage delivering that line as only his fabulous self could!
GENIUS on both cards. That little parade is precious but have to say the favorite part of that card is the sentiment. The second card is adorable as well. LOVE the way you used the tag!!
Blimey, I love them both! Especially in those colors!
Oh my, Michele. You are awesome. Love the first card with the snipped h and the wonderful marching fellas. You always use that stitched border die perfectly. Love the gray and red colors on the second card. That red is a beautiful color. And the gray is such a crisp gray. It's sometimes hard for me to find a such lovely red or gray. Thank you for sharing! Crafty hugs!
ello!
You are always so clever. LOVE your MFT card...sooooo CUTE.
Your second card is beautiful. Love the pop from the sentiment.
Your marching band is adorable, Michele, and I love the British accent! I'm impressed with your use of patterned paper. I seem to have a mental block when I pull them out. The soft gray with the red sentiment has such a feel good vibe to it!
What a cute band, Michele ... and such a clever and creative way to add the London Mouse's 'ello! Yummy Renke papers ... the pop of red really steps them up a notch! Hugs, Anita :)
Two fabulous cards Michele but you know the mouse card and the 'ello totally had me smiling from ear to ear!! Why did I never know about this set??!!!!! Can you please PLEASE bring it in October?? Love it!! :0)
What a clever and creative idea with card number one....Fabulous London Mouse stamping and colouring and a fun idea to drop the 'H' from the Hello x. Wonderful card x. Fabulous take on the sketch with the papers on card number too x
Again, two beautiful cards, Michele! Love your meece and the houses are CAS but effective!
mmmmm I have that wonderful London Mouse somewhere and sadly I don't think it's seen ink, maybe I need to fix that lol. thanks so much for the inspiration and reminder!
LOL at how you left the h off hello. clever!
Oh, these are so classy still maintaining your unique CAS beauties.
I'll pull out the mice set someday :)
Neutrals with a pop of red--perfection! The mice are adorable and love your fun 'ello!
WOW, and WOW again! Your little marching band is adorable and your coloring is really beautiful, Michele! I love how you played with the sentiment on this card and how you included horizontal stitching...so fun! Such a pretty Christmas card, too...great job with the sketch and I LOVE the patterned papers! Like I said, WOW!
Marching band mice are adoralbe!! I love that you offset the panels and ran stitched lines over. Gray and red look so pretty!
It's amazing to see that layering a few pieces of AR pattern paper makes this card look so stylish. The red die-cut sentiment pops beautifully. And your choice of adding the house die-cut (aperture) piece to the layer is my favorite part of this card.
Hideko xx
Awesome use of both sketches Michele... Love your parade
