CAS[E] this Sketch #214

Leigh's sketch for this week sets the stage for patterned paper, but it is just right for a wonderful new wood-grain beauty that I wanted to play with today.  Of course you'll see something totally different than I ... and isn't that where the fun comes in?

Take a peek at CTS #214:

I wish I had a bit of good news to share with all of you who are sending get-well-wishes for my father-in-law ... it has been a tough third week, and we may have to face some very hard decisions soon.  So now, my prayers have turned to those that ask for comfort for him, and ...

I so miss telling you all how much I love those gorgeous cards you're making ... don't give up on me ... I'll be back!

Nope. Not giving up on you sweet Michele. I know how health issues can impact a family. Prayers for you all. You're in my thoughts. This is a lovely card. That background is wonderful and the greens for the leaves and the 'peace' are the perfect compliment. It's beautiful. Hugs, darlin'. Bev

With so many hugs that have come your way, I'm renaming you 'Squishy' for now. Hugs leave their tell tale imprint, you know 🙂
I'll add mine in for an extra 'squish' for you and I hope that no matter what the outcome, you and those you love will all know that 'peace' you've put on your card for today.
Thinking of you... x

So sorry to hear your father in law is not getting better Michele. It must be a tough time for you all, know that many people out there are thinking of you all and hoping his pain is minimal. He is surrounded by love from all his family and we will continue to include you and your family in our prayers.

Wonderful card for the challenge. Take care hugs Aileen
