A two-for Sunday!

The Curtain Call has lured me in ... well, honestly, it was the card Leigh Penner made - OH goodness, it's a beauty!  Now by this I don't mean that my card is anything at all like hers ... in any way!  But she's brought me here, and for that, I am grateful:

I've already confessed to my lack of pumpkins, so my little eye spied that vase ...  et voila!  a little embossing folder comes to my rescue for that fabulous texture!

Ellen Hutson Essentials Mondo Hydrangea, and Christmas Scribbles

Everyone displays Hydrangeas at Christmas, right???  I dry mine, upside down for weeks, and display them ALL YEAR!

Blessed Sunday everyone!

Ye gads, those hydrangea!!! Oh yes, your card... lovely interpretation, all your own. And love how you picked the teeniest green and brown for inspiration. Did I mention, I covet those hydrangea?

I love the way you were inspired Michele, this is fabulous!! Speaking of fabulous, look at that vase of hydrangeas!! I used to dry them, but I don't have a plant at this house. Might have to prowl the neighborhood one night LOL!!

Way to look beyond the pumpkins, Michele. I love dried hydrangeas and have the pitcher full that my Mom kept. That peek of green and black along the side is not to be overlooked either.

Who needs pumpkins when you have hydrangeas? Love your take on the photo, and I'm smitten with your teapot(?) collection!
