The Card Concept - #41: Neutrals

I LOve neutrals!  It shouldn't be a surprise to any of you to hear me say this, right?  Some of my favorite creations to date are nearly all grey!  Check out this gorgeous inspiration:

For The Card Concept's Neutral challenge #41  my Clean and Layered card:

#MFT Harvest Mouse and Peek a boo die-
and a panel of Neenah, and SSS Smoke, wood-grain embossed - my favorite!

This darling little countrified mouse is right at home with his teensy weensy little pumpkins I've stamped onto wood-grain pattern paper.  I rather like him in his neutral sweater and vest!

I know for a fact it is time to start buying more Copics to add to my collection from friends Jeanne, and Barb ... I've gotten spoiled madly, but not a grey, or brown in the house!  Here I've had to use my old Spectrum Noire alcohol markers.

It has been some time since I've linked to Virginia's View challenge - sorry about that V!  I LOve your challenges - even though color scares me to death - will neutrals do?  This one's for you, too!

Thanks for stopping by today - always makes me happy ...

Oh my goodness Michele, this is absolutely darling! Your woodgrain background is perfect with this adorable country mouse! Even without the right Copic colors, you've colored all the images beautifully, and I love the scalloped aperture...so CUTE!

I bought some mini white gourds today...smaller than the palm of my hand, so your card really made me smile :)

Oh, I love him in his neutral attire--so sweet! I haven't made a card with this set yet but stamped a sheet of images so I could practice coloring. After lots of trial with much error, I think I have decided on colors I like for his fur! Hope to post a card soon!

Your little mouse is so adorable, Michele, peeking through his little mouse hole. Looks like you've conquered your Spectrum Noires for the time being. I agree with Carol. You do do neutrals so well.
