Colour me... playful & a little Reverse Confetti for CASology!

I really prefer to give each challenge play time of their very own, but today I'm crunching minutes to get a card posted before my husband walks in - and he often walks in early on Friday!!  So... without further ado...

For CASology Week 161: Plaid - and, by golly, I'd eat plaid ice cream, wouldn't you?  Pineapple, orange, vanilla, lime ... sounds great to me!!!  My husband probably would not eat this, but this is his birthday card, so I hope he'll love the sentiment just the same.

Reverse Confetti - a surprise prize!!  #Love and Ice Cream!
and a little Christmas tree from #Branch Out for the cone!
Inside sentiment:  I LOVE you more than life itself!

For Colour Me playful #86: I've done my best to mix my distress inks to mimic their wonderful colors, and gone quite literal with my card:

Pink Paislee Pineapple Embossing folder; Impress Pineapple stamp;
Recollections cardstock collection.  And a bit of distress ink water-coloring after
clear embossing the pineapple.

I'll be back with my 12 Kits of Occasion cards on the last day of the month ... hope to see you then!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Just got off FB with you....Please give Tom my most sincere HB wishes! Love the plaid ice cream cone. I'd go for one too! Great dotty background and love that sweet cone. And well done on the Colour Me card. Your colors look spot on to me. I have nothing even close to the dark coral color so really couldn't play, boohoo. Love yours though. Especially love all those teeny tiny pineapples you've embossed. Gotta run, big sister n me going craft shopping today! Woohoo!!!! Bev

Your embossed panels are so fabulous, Michele...they really take your cards to the next level, every time! Love your plaid ice cream scoop and all the fun texture on the cone! Gorgeous color combo on your 2nd card, too! I love the softness of your pineapple, especially with this beautiful color combo! Two really lovely cards!

I usually post one at a time too, Michele, but sometimes you just have to put them together to get them all in. At least when you've been on a creative streak. ;) Love your plaid ice cream. I'm sure someone would try to make it if they could. The pineapple card is spot on.

Hope Tom had a wonderful birthday, Michele! Cool card (hahaha!) ... the background embossing is a perfect hint at a waffley cone ... and plaid ice cream ... yep, I'd go for that (or any other flavour really!) ... so yummy! Amazing pineapple ... luscious watercolouring ... and that brilliant EF again ... so fun! Hugs, Anita :)

Plaid ice cream, in those scrumptious flavours? Yes, please! Way to transform the Christmas tree die into a waffle cone! The sentiment - inside and out - oh my! Bet you earned some serious brownie points from Tom with that romantic expression of love. How blessed he is to have you - and you, him! Card 2: you are sooooo convincing me that I need some pineapples in my collection! On the radar for next spring. By then, another trend will have appeared so I'll be, as per usual, behind the times. Who cares: pineapples are cool! You've convinced me!
