The Paper Players #774

By now you all know how inspired I am by a sketch - Jan at The Paper Players has a lovely sketch for us this week...

I had the Fun & Flowers set from The Stamp Market still out on my desk.  It worked its charm for Jan's sketch IMHO, using some papers from the same company - would you believe this was a Halloween collection?

My newest frame from Waffle Flower Craft set the stage for my little flower.  Here's a closeup so you can see I followed LeAnne's lead on my horizontal strip of paper with that MFT stitching detail we both love so much...

Happy Tuesday, my friends!

This is darling,Michele! Such sweet papers, pretty frame and the tiny stitching/piercing details - awesome. My craftroom called me today but not enough energy followed me so there was no making happening -- soon I hope

If one plaid is good, two plaids are great! They mix well on your darling card, Michele, and I'm impressed with the X in the middle of the flower.

This great sketch has so many possibilities and I love what you did with it. Pretty parts and papers. Yes, hard to believe they're from a Halloween collection, but what pretty Halloween cards they would make!

Your charming set is indeed perfect for the sketch IMHO too! It's an unusual colour combination but it not only works but has a warm country feel too. It's sweet without being saccharine. The wonky stitching on the horizontal strip is such a super detail. Thanks for joining in with my sketch this week at The Paper Players.

Love this Michele - and not a hint of Halloween lol! I love the mix of gingham patterns and the pretty stitched/label border detail. A beautiful example of simple layers and a single flower making a beautiful card. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

Oh, I totally missed this post and went straight to your FMS post! I recognize those SM flowers (I took the same class!) and your new frame sets it off perfectly, even with Halloween papers! Who knew?
