I was thrilled to have a win and to be invited to guest design with those wonderful gals at Time Out! It is photo inspiration time and here is the lovely little hand-sewn bag from Kim Heggins - a former team member at Time Out with sewing skills extraordinaire!
The Challenge winner, as chosen by the Design Team, will receive the handmade bag shown on the Challenge Badge. Winner will also receive an invitation to join them as Guest Designer for a future challenge.
Of all the patterned papers I have on hand, I couldn't find one pastel as
Kim used - but I did find some really fun dots and stripes from Honey Bee's Over the Rainbow collection of prints! Adding some fun 'stitched' details to the
dotted purple might make you think of a fun pair of jeans - with just
the cutest little pocket to stow a daisy! This little pocket die comes out to play
at least once a year and was a gift from my friend Anne-Mette from Denmark many years ago. I love that the zipper had the perfect spot for that pearl, and the
little tag holds x's and o's!

Now I can't imagine me in a pair of purple polka dotted jeans, but Miss Bella would look adorable in a pair exactly like this Michele! I absolutely LOVE all the details like the zipper with that sweet addition of the pearl and of course the xoxo tag! And don't let me forget the Daisy...too, too CUTE!! Well, dang, I can't get over how cute that pocket is! I love that it has the zipper and the little tag and all the stitching. I love the top stitched seam along the edge of the jeans, and, of course, the daisy in the pocket! I would have worn these jeans back in the day!
What a sweet card with that purple polka dotted panel with the stitching and that striped pocket is just too cute with that zipper and xoxo tag. The cute daisy stuck in it is perfect.
You know I just love this card, Michele. The design and papers are so fun, but it's the little details that make it so special. Michelle, I love that you created a polka dot pair of pants with a rainbow stripe pocket with a daisy. Your mind works in mysterious ways and I love it. Your card took me back to my childhood where picking daisies and making daisy chains was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with my bestie! So glad you GD with us at Time Out this week
