Thank you, Deer!

Hello, my friends - so glad you stopped by today!

I have a few more Waffle Flower Crafts Folk Art Deer to share with you!  There is a 12x12 cardstock storage container where I keep all the Christmas patterned papers I've purchased over the years from this place or that ... it's amazing how far one sheet of paper can go!

Take this one from October Afternoon for example ... it was a done deal when I found it years ago - loved BOTH sides of it... and bonus - it has a lovely Nordic feel to it that goes with that deer so well!

A few dies were used in the making:
Altenew's Ornate Nesting Dies,
an oldie from Winnie & Walter,
and Pinkfresh Studio's Fancy Circles and Lacey Edgers

I spent an hour of my time to stamp, emboss and die cut the
Pinkfresh Studio: Basic Banners Christmas sentiments.
Time spent now, for time saved later!

Isn't my Folk Art Deer looking right at home?  I sure wish I could get my hands on more of this Let it Snow design!  I love this last one - especially with those stripe-y pjs I dressed my deer in!

Now, before I head back to my studio - I have ONE more WF Postage Collage card to share - then I'll stop!  Since I've used all the colors of FALL for my Christmas card, I'm sending it over to D&D at their September Stencil Fun Challenge!

Thanks, my friends, for supporting my enthusiasm over these products!

Your folk art deer are near and "deer" to my heart. Beautifully done! And yes, I can't get enough of your postage stamps. You should design for USPS. I would go wild buying your stamps.

Two more fun ways to let this deer star, Michele! Great papers to pair him with and your mix of die cuts is fantastic on both! I hope you're not done with your postage stamps because I'm really enjoying them. I wish the USPS would have stamps as pretty as yours.

I miss October Afternoon and their marvelous paper designs! I sure like what you've done with yours here. That little deer looks right at home on each snippet. The cute fella in his peppermint stripe PJ's is my favorite. Delightful cards!

At this rate you'll have a ton of Christmas cards ready, Michele. I gave away all my 12 x 12 paper but what you saved worked beautifully for these deer cards.

A 12 x 12 sheet of paper does indeed go a long way in our cardmaking world Michele! These papers you have used on these cards are fabulous and certainly goes well with your Nordic deer! I love each card so much but I think the one in the PJ's is my favorite because how can you go wrong staying in your PJ's?! Die cutting extras is always a good idea, saves time for later when you are ready to pop some cards together! Love, love, love these Christmas WF Postage College cards! Please don't stop! LOL Hugs, Brenda

PS: So all the little items/scenes are stenciled???

It's hard to keep up with your creativity right now... this deer is making the rounds in such wonderful ways. Love all the frames you are using and the wonderful papers too. I also am partial to deer's striped PJs. And that WF Postage die... the possibilities are endless!
