Stress-free Card Making Summit

I've watched a few of the crafty sessions shared at the Stress-free Card Making Summit!  My good friend Therese made a pop-up card using my favorite Altenew Poinsettia die - how could I resist making one, too?

Therese shared a simple way to color block a card base... and how to POP-up a
Poinsettia when the card is opened...

and how to use patterned paper to cut the Poinsettia for fun!
I've done this many many times - today I used all painted woodgrain papers!

So much fun 'homework' to do - I'd better get it done!
=] Michele

All patterned paper is from Craft Consortium:  Wood Textures, and Grunge - Dark Tones.
Cardstock is from Concord & 9th: Pebble and Lemongrass

LOVE everything about this card Michele, it's like mine but only better!! I am so very happy that you were inspired by my design... and it's a Poinsettia, what could be better (wink).

I love everything about this, Michele. That woodgrain background is so wonderful... the colors in it are fantastic and the blues/grays of the poinsettia and the graan are perfect compliments. Fabulous make.

Love this card and those papers, Michele. I can see the other cut piece from the front on the inside. Fabulous card design and paper/color choices. Gorgeous poinsettia. Might have to do some shopping after we finally move into our new location later in October!!

This was a great summit wasn't it Michele?!! I love your friend's tutorial, although I'm not one for making pop up cards. This color blocking is so popular right not and it's fun as is your pop up poinsettia card! I love this and love the wood papers you used! Your poinsettia is pretty amazing as well. Well done with the pop up part too, Therese made it look pretty simple to do! Hugs, Brenda
