Color Hues #112

Stef has a gorgeous color combo for us at Color Hues #112!  It offered me the chance to use a new-to-me set from Altenew: Oxeye Daisy.  Armed with its stencils and these inks, these colors came together beautifully - I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the blue leaves!

oopsie daisies - that's Sapphire I've placed upside down!

Backed with a partial panel of 'seersucker' and I think this a very
'summery' way to say hello to a friend!

I've embraced this blue just for you, Stef! and think it's just peachy!

That is very special blue, I must say. i totally get your embracing it! And how lovely it goes with the peach in that beautiful floral image. I finally ordered that embossing folder. It certainly adds a special touch, always.

You rocked these colors, Michele! I think it would be the most fun to have some true blue leaves in the garden. Some plants come close, but not quite. Really a pretty stamp, and love that embossing!

I'm surprised you made blue leaves but they work, Michele. Like I heard Jennifer say the other day "In an artist's garden the flowers can be any color" or something to that effect. Those blue centers just pop.

Michele, I can see why you picked up this gorgeous stamp from Altenew. They make the best florals around if you ask me. This card is stunning and I love the blue centers and blue leaves. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues and enjoy your weekend.

You made me laugh out loud, Michele! I am very honored that you "embraced the blue" for my challenge - quite honestly, I wasn't sure it you would want to with blue in the combo...but you did and what a gorgeous card you've made! Those daisies are beautiful and you've made them even more so in peach. Thank you for playing along at CH!

This is gorgeous Michelle. I have always wondered what blue leaves would look like and you pulled it off perfectly with these peachy daisies and blue leaves. They go together perfectly.
