A duo of cards for a trio of challenges!

I don't normally combine challenges in one post but one of today's cards is for two challenges and both challenges are color challenges!  Are you curious?  Read on!

Sheri's pretty coral and green challenge at Color Hues kept calling me back for a floral and I found just the stamp for it - inspired by these incredible Sweet Peas on the interweb:

... and a stamp set that a very sweet friend gifted me quite some time ago...

Stamped onto Canson wc paper and colored with Distress reinkers in
Abandoned Coral, Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint. Cut with an old MFT Wonky Rectangle die.

That fun sentiment die is from Pinkfresh Studio: Take Care stand-alone die
but I simply used the outline portion - cut twice and layered for stability.
A sprinkle of PF gems and all layered on a card base.

Next up: a card for The Paper Players #741 and JUGS #778 -

Cover panel embossed with Simon Hurley's Bark EF
Another gift from a friend: The Stamp Market's Pencil Box cut from C&9th cardstock.
along with Spring Tulip - colored with Copics.

Each one of those teensy colored pencils has 5 pieces that come together
so realistically!

Thanks, Ina, for the shoutout!

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!  I appreciate your visit!

Two fabulous cards Michele! The sentiment on the first one reminds me of sweet pea tendrils ( so appropriate!) and I'm in awe of the dimension and layering on the second one - which is also perfect for our challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

You have been a busy bee today, Michele! Love both of these cards! The flowers on the first one are just stunning, as is the die cut outline sentiment. Beautiful watercoloring. The second card for TPP has such a fun way to send a message with the pencil box and pencils, dolled up just a bit with the die cut flower. Thank you so much for joining in at both Color Hues and the Paper Players, you know we always love seeing your cards in the gallery!

Your sweet peas are gorgeous and rival the real things, Michele! I love how you did the sentiment. Kudos for getting those thin pieces lined up and glued together! Amazing! And the pencil box and pencils are so dimensional that they look so real! What a fun card, my friend!

Two awesome cards Michele! Your sweet peas are so beautifully water colored and look fabulous against all the white! Love the die cut sentiment too! I'm intrigued by your 2nd card...are those real colored pencils in the box, or stamped ones that just look so real?? Either way, I love, LOVE the card! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Color Hues again...we always love seeing your creativity in the gallery! Hugs. :0)

Wowza! Your pencil box card is pretty dang amazing! What a cool idea! That background is boss and dare I say...those pencils look REAL! Or are they real? It's hard to tell! Anyway, the sentiment on the first card is a testament to your patience. That would have given me fits!!! But WOW, is it fabulous! The florals are pretty sweet too!

I love the way you've changed things up with the sentiment in the first card--another indication of your creative genius!!! The sweet peas are gorgeous, and we're so happy to find you in the Color Hues gallery again. I LOVE those pencils--somehow I've never seen them before. As a former elementary school teacher they would have been an often used die in my stash during those years.

Yes, you just had to do some flowers for this color challenge, and what pretty flowers they are! Love the scent of sweet peas and I swear I can smell them right now. Cool how you only used the outline for the sentiment die. Michele, the pencil box is amazing! I really thought the pencils were real and had to click for a close up to be sure. What a great die set! The tulip on the front is so pretty. Love the Bark embossing. Wow x 2!
