The Paper Players #788

Joanne has a wonderful tic-tac-toe design board to play cards with this week at The Paper Players #788!  I was determined to play along! Check it out...

I had a new set to break in and that top row across fit the bill!

Circles: from SU! Lovely Arrangement dies [I doubled the fun with a shadow layer]
Flower: Altenew's Tropical Vibes Project Kit
Die cut: Betterpress sentiment, circles, and flowers!
ALL came together over an embossed panel from that same
Altenew Tropical kit!

That's it from me for today!  It's been really nice getting back in the
studio and hanging out with my fellow card makers!  Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so much, Joanne!

Those vibrant hibiscuses are just stunning, Michele! They are definitely the scene-stealer on this card lol! I do love that layered circle die cut as a landing spot for your flowers and the embossed background looks amazing as well. Thanks for playing along with the Paper Players this week!

Those embossed leaves made a great background for the brightly colored Hibiscus, Michele.

That little hint of colour from your shadow layer is such a clever way to add interest and define your circles on the white on white background. Love those vibrant pinks on your flowers too xx

So, so beautiful Michele - the detail to all of the layers is fabulous (and I'm definitely going to use that layering of the circle panel die!!) The pop of colour from that tropical bloom is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!

Those pesky sets that just demand to be broken in... trouble all the way! Yours obviously took to the task without incident based on this absolutely gorgeous creation. That subtle addition of colour from the shadowing of the circle dies is one of those masterstroke moves that many people wouldn't notice even while they recognised the beauty of the design. Wonderful! Thanks for joining us again at The Paper Players.

Oooh, a new beauty in your stash and how fabulous it all looks together! Love the tropical vibe, especially the embossing 'cause you know I'm addicted. Cool circles layer, too. I like the extra layer of yellow for contrast. It's good to see you back in your studio. The more Michele the better!

I have a wonderful sense of summer when I look at your card Michele! Sadly my frangipani has shed it's leaves and is bare waiting for summer to come back. Great design with all those clever background elements ! :)

San Antonio has received a lot of rain which equals HUMIDITY. 😭😭😭 It's been brutal! Our San Antonio Spurs are in the NBA Championship Finals. We like to do things the hard way and come from behind, but I still have hope. 😉 Sending you a HUGE hug, mi amiga. 💜🐻 Mari mariandmonsterd@yahoo.com

Oh my, this tropical beauty is so wonderful. I LOVE that embossing and that circle background is just a wonderful stage for this hibiscus. I can hear Hawaiian music in my head and imagine a cool drink with an umbrella in my hand!
