Pretty EBE boxes!

If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen all the little boxes I've made using the Parcel Box die from the new Essentials by Ellen release!  For those of you who aren't on IG,  I thought I'd share them here today!

First things first ... let me share the Parcel Box die!

You can see there are several sweet little element dies that provide options to close the Parcels: slots - for all of those gorgeous ribbons Ellen sends free with your order!

These darling buttons for string enclosures, and a perfect little place to tie on the sweet little tag from the set:

I found another use for those little slots... how about a belt?  Okay, it's just a strip of kraft paper made to look like a belt, with a few dots of Nuvo as an accent, that I carried over to the card!

Now if you really use your imagination, you might find other ways, of corset ...

here's how I made it - it was a cinch! lol

After cutting the Parcel box, and before it was folded, I used a little dotted die from an MFT blueprints 18 set:

You can see that I've added a little bit of black cardstock behind one of the flaps, which only draws attention to the holes.
A few stitches with a double strand of black quilting thread, and it's closed!

You may have noticed a bit of gingham, and fun alpha accents on my cards ... these are a few more of the wonderful products available now in the Ellen Hutson, LLC shop!
