I'm very happy to be invited to guest design over at CAS Mix Up - even happier that Loll has brought her CAS challenges back! Here is the July challenge:
I did a deep dive into Eclipse techniques, including those that Loll
has included in their post. I recently watched one of my favorite crafters
who loves tags and used one to create a gorgeous eclipse card using some
of her favorite florals from Altenew - I have a few of my own! That is how
my CAS Mix Up Eclipse card began [Thanks Michelle Short!] armed with
these inks and Altenew's Rose Gallica stamp and stencils.
I admit that it is a bit CAS for Mixed Media - but it is a CAS challenge after all!
You'll no doubt remember this gorgeous Nesting Slimline Labels set if
you've been visiting me at all. I used to use it quite a bit and it was nice
to bring it to the table again. I've added a sprinkling of SB Aura AB gems -
I challenge you to find them.
Now then, why don't you join us in celebrating the return of another of
Loll's CAS challenges? You have the entire month and all the fine details along with the team's gorgeous cards can be found at the CAS Mix Up Challenge!
Thanks, Loll for inviting me!

Ooh, what a pretty eclipse card, Michele! I have this tag die as you and TK enabled me! I still enjoy it too! Your flowers are so pretty and bringing part of the bouquet forward makes them even prettier! Congratulations on your Guest Designer spot, my friend!
Beautiful CAS card with that Eclipse technique. Love your beautiful flower and the gems on one flower petal and one leaf. It also looks like there might be some in the flower center?? Glad Loll has brought the CAS challenges back. Have a great 4th of July weekend Michele.
Gorgeous card Michele. Love your beautiful florals and what a cool way to add the Eclipse technique with your shape die. It's awesome! Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer this month! xx
So clean and beautiful! Yes, I remember your Slimline Labels, and I do see your little gems adding the perfect bit of sweet something extra. You're the ideal guest designer to help kick off the return of Loll's CAS Mix Up Challenge!
I agree, it is great to see the CAs mix up challenge back and I must make an effort to take part. Congrats on joining the first post as guest designer with this beauty. Love the colours and clever use of that die xx
This shaped label die works brilliantly as the eclipse Michelle, and I love the Altenew floral stamp and stencil you used, and beautifully finished with the lovely sentiment and pretty gems. It's great that you have joined us as a Guest Designer for this first month of the return of the challenge and with this wonderful card. x
Oh this is glorious, Michele! Such bright colors and a beautiful floral, all with that lovely cut -- I spy your fave tags.
A really clever use of the die Michele on this fabulous floral image. Great colours and a great card and thanks for being our GDT! x
