I had such fun making my card for last week's Freshly Made Sketches - bonus: a win! These gulls just had to play again!
For FMS#641 here is Jen T's sketch:
Guess who got the Beach Days Postage Collage from Waffle Flower - did you guess me? Yeppers: it's all MINE MINE MINE!! and I managed to get a little 'salty' myself with a little help from my friendly Stickles... you'll notice a bit of it on
the beak, of course.
Now, while I have you... here is my celebratory card for the gals at JUGS#731:
It's just been too long since these MFT cuties took flight! Thanks, Carol, for
the perfect time to use them and this sentiment!
I have a feeling that gull won't be sharing any of those fries! This is oodles of fun and the sweet pair for your JUGs entry stole my heart. I just love them to bits!
ReplyDeleteYou have the FUNNEST supplies! I just love that BLUE background on your gull card....and those postage stamps are just the cutest!! BLUE! I can't believe it's BLUE!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness!!!! This is my favorite gull card yet!!! I just love the cover plate and the color you chose for it. Great job on the fries, and I LOVE the "live salty" over that gull. This is just fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are fun!, love the seagull. The balloons work perfectly for a celebration too. Thanks for sharing at JUGS!
ReplyDeleteAnd oh... I love your JUGs card too. Love those sweet little flying critters! So adorable!!
ReplyDeleteWell you know I love those gulls too, and this guy just couldn't be any cuter Michele!! Love your blue background too! And your JUGS card with the trio of balloon carrying critters is CAS perfection and totally makes me smile! Sweet, sweet cards my friend! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteOh no! Another stamp and die set to add to my wish list. Those gulls are fabulous - as is the trio of them below. Terrific cards. They always make me smile xxx
ReplyDeleteSo much delight in one post. Mappy sigh.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are adorable! Those sea gulls are stealing the show and all the fries!!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are fantastic Michele. I didn't know there was another set of postage collage stencils...but then we were out of town and I wasn't following any news on the crafty front.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are great! I love the gull stencils. I have yet to play with "mine" or my gull dies but you're inspiring me to break them out. You've been busy crafting. A good idea so you don't get "fried" in the heat! lol Stay cool and crafty!
ReplyDeleteSalty, yet oh so sweet! Adorable card, Michele, as is your second one with those adorable creatures flying away gleefully
ReplyDeleteSeagulls are a delight on a card, Michele, especially this one! I love the addition of "salt" on the fries and his beak! And that has to be the sweetest baby card ever!
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of salt to your gull card, Michele. It's such a fun card. The bear and bunny floating away on balloons are just darling.
ReplyDeleteOh, geez, love these so much! The gull postage really tickles my funny bone. The Beach Days Postage Collage is so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteLoving all the Seagulls I'm seeing right now and this one is just adorable... now I want some chips... but it's only breakfast time lol.
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic cards Michele. Those gulls are so cute!! I'm looking at the tasty fries and wish we could get them $1 here. :) Your celebration card is so adorable with those cute critters floating through the air. xx
ReplyDeleteAlways a treat to see your gull friends! Super fun take on the sketch. And your second card is pure joy!
ReplyDeleteI'm all about salty...and fries!!! And salty fries!! What an adorable take on the sketch. As always, so glad you joined us this week at FMS!
ReplyDeleteWell gullfriend these cards are adorable! Hard to pick a fave bt both worth celebrating!
