I'm often inspired by my sweet friend Therese from Lost in Paper! This time she 'enabled' me to do a little shopping, too! Thanks so much, T!
Please find her latest 'same but different' card making session HERE - I had so much fun with these Spellbinders Fresh Picked Anemones... I've said it before: with anemones like these, who needs friends? [just kidding! what would I do without you?]
Coming up with my own designs wasn't hard at all - but you know I had to bring some grey to the table, right?
SB was very clever to keep all three of the 'sections' of these Anemones
together so that three back petals, three front petals, three sets of centers, and three different stems are cut together. I wanted white blooms today, but used a
pale grey for the 'inside' back petal to give them dimension.
I created an oval 'frame' with SB Essential Stylish Ovals - then quickly
debossed it using Altenew's Dotted Starbust Debossing Cover Die before popping it up on my card base. This sentiment is one I had on hand from Waffle Flower Crafts: Hello Friend combo set. A dash of PF gems and my card is complete!
This time, I've used blue - yes, blue! Very pale Powder Blue from C&9th to be exact, with a peachy center, and navy stems and leaves!
The texture in my cover panel comes from Altenew's Dotted Geo Cover die and the sentiment is a Spellbinders' Betterpress Sentiments of Wonder set.
This card measures 4 x 6" - perfect for this trio of blooms.
Last, but not least, a tiny little note card using the final bloom - and a bit more grey!
The 'love you' comes from Altenew's Fresh Freesia, cut with their
Featured Sentiments die set.
And, voila! My card trio is complete - and I had such fun!
Thanks so very much, Therese, for always inspiring me! and thanks to you, my friends for stopping by - of course I'd appreciate it so much if you'd hop over to Therese's blog post and IF you fancy a bit of shopping, please use her affiliate links?
Thanks, tons!

Anemones is one of my most favorite words on the planet to say….especially to the tune of the muppets song….but I digress….these cards are fabulous….the most amazing anemones I have ever seen….and that wee card at the end….delightful!
