This little die+stencil set from Waffle Flower seemed like it needed to live with us - we are really big fans of that buttery snack! The stripes on the box are my stand-in for Ceciles' paper stripes!
This particular sentiment was found in their Puzzle Sentiments,
but it seemed to fit - like butter and popcorn!
[the cover panel was an exchange from Kim S a few years ago - thanks Kim.]
I won't know for sure if the FMS618 gallery is still open - I'd better go find out! But before I leave you - here is a taste of our weather this weekend!

What a fun little set and you used it perfectly! This is super cute, Michele. How much snow did you end up with? My brother said it took him 2 hours to get home from work!
ReplyDeleteTotally fun! Love the vivid red stenciling too! You can do have the snow….☃️
ReplyDeleteIt's a winner! Well the card is but also the content! Apparently we share more than one thing in common, Michele... boy have I got stories about popcorn from this house.
ReplyDeleteAs for the snow -- LOVE IT! While it's cold and too many people don't know how to drive in it, I absolutely love it. In fact, I'd rather take all your snow and give you the -7* we had yesterday! Yes, too cold to snow, but it'll come, though probably not in the amounts I want 😁
That was a perfect background for the cute box of popcorn, Michele. We have very little snow and the sun is shining right now but the wind chill factor is at advisory levels. Actual temperature is 11. I'm staying in too.
ReplyDeleteLove your fun card and I think it fits the sketch. I agree, who can eat just 1 handful of that buttery goodness.:)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of snow. Stay warm.
What a fun card! Love that big bold box of popcorn! And I love your snow too. I know, don't hate me! I just like LOOKING at yours, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat fabulous box of popcorn needs a good movie to go with it! And we are receiving all of your leftover snow today......and ohhh that wind!
ReplyDeleteI saw the sketch in the last try and see it again in this! This one is making me hungry for popcorn! I think Tom may want to wait a bit on the grilling. That's a pretty snow!
ReplyDeleteJust had popcorn last night...I must have been telepathically transmitting the vibes to you for your card! Super cute and LOVE the sentiment!! Your photos look the same as ours and it's STILL snowing!! News said 23" and counting for Byron Center...enough already!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteSO cute!! Love your detailing on the popcorn! And you're welcome - it's perfect with the popcorn box. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
ReplyDeleteYour card is simply delicious! Popping good fun! And blech on all that snow! Looks pretty, but like you, I'll stay in! Love that Tom is on the job to help the bluebirds. I'd love to see him grilling in your weather! LOL Thanks for sharing, Michele!
ReplyDeleteI see stripes! And I see a heckava lot of snow! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely best to stay in. That's an awful lot of snow and what a good excuse to stay in and eat popcorn. Great card and I am sure it fits the sketch perfectly well xx
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that snow -- yikes! It's a good time to have a toasty warm and secure house. It's beautiful to my eyes as it's a novelty here. I LOVE your popcorn card! We're fans here, too. What fun with the sentiment. The cover plate is perfect. I can hear that popping now!
ReplyDeleteAnother brilliant take on the sketch, Michèle! I just love your super creative mind. Thanks so much again for joining us at FMS.
ReplyDeleteI too am looking out into show covered trees and yards and birdfeeders. Not as much as you maybe 2-3 inches, but I do love how serene it looks. ANd since we have zero need to go out I get to enjoy it...maybe with a few handfuls of popcorn later on. Love your card.
ReplyDeleteFabulous take on the sketch Michele, I think it works perfectly, it's just that the stripes are incorporated not actually 'behind' the image, love it! I'll be there for the grill if he cranks it up lol.
ReplyDeleteI must be the only person I know who doesn't love popcorn but I adore your card ! It looks so life like and the cute box is perfection. As for the snow !!!!!!No thank you looks pretty though.
