If I had been as quick with the making as I was with the idea you'd already see my card in the Color Hues #79 gallery! Karen has chosen two fun colors that brought verdigris to mind - you know, it's what happens to those copper pennies that go through the laundry, or when copper [or brass] statues oxidize - think Lady Liberty!

My card can't hold a candle [or torch] to that beauty, but I did manage to get a little patina on my copper frame...
I was reminded that I had a few of these vine-y embossed panels on hand - I just found a die that makes it appear that the vines are growing out and onto my Altenew Enchanted Mirror! The mirror was actually cut from Green-eyed Monster cardstock from MFT, and the copper embossing was added to it.
Gotta run - I have a Facetime playtime date soon with my friend Cat!

Beautiful card Michele! I love the copper embossing on the leafy mirror die cut, but even more I like the name of the green cardstock! Hahaha!! Seriously lovely, lovely card though using the challenge colors...LOVE it! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Color Hues Color Challenge! Hugs. :0)
Stunning. Love the addition of the copper on the green frame.
This is truly and enchanted mirror, Michele! What a great way to weave these colors together! Can't wait to see what you and Cat come up with!
This mirror truly looks enchanted, like something out of Snow White. I love verdigris and your copper and green is a beautiful suggestion. I haven't used my verdigris embossing powder for a while. So many things need to come out to play, sigh...
This is fabulous. I love how you have added the copper embossing, it really adds interest and the white contrast is fabulous xx
I'm always eager to see what creative take you'll have on any challenge, and this was a great one. It's a gorgeous card. The frame is fabulous and the background and sentiment are perfect with it. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Hues!
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who made the fairest card of all? Michele!! xo
Great mirror and a brilliant way to use your green and copper!
Wow! You never cease to amaze me. Beautiful card! Hope you had a ton of fun on your Facetime get together!
That green patina? Genius way to incorporate it into the challenge colors! Wish I could pick your creative brain!
I love the deep copper and green on this card, Michele! It is so striking against the white. Love that you had copper smbossing powder to match. Thanks for sharing your talents with us at Color Hues. Stay warm!
I was going to say something similar to Lisa so I won't. :D The vines from the ef and mirror really play off each other beautifully, Michele.
But,,,,,if Lady Liberty ever invites you to her birthday party you have the perfect card for her! beautiful!
Absolutely genius to incorporate the green as patina on that beautiful mirror, Michele! Your card is so elegant and lovely. It's always a treat to see you in the CH gallery!
Michele your card design is fantastic! I learned something new today, the term 'verdigris'! Thank you for sharing the history! Now I want to find that jar of Pennie's I saved when they took them out of circulation and wash one! So many details, the embossed background the mirror frame, the deep shades of green and copper--oh my! Thanks so much for joining us at the Color Hues!
Your copper embossing looks fabulous on this die-cut! You are so very clever!
Wowee! This is really gorgeous! Love all the layers! What a great way to use the CH colors!
Thanks for the inspiration as I am also waiting for that lovely vintage mirror die to arrive after seeing an earlier card of yours. You really are the temptress but thankfully you always provide plenty of inspiration. The copper embossing looks amazing with the green I love that you kept the leaves white.
