The tale of two plaids!

I went in search of some plaid papers from my stash and came across two that I had forgotten - one so old it's not surprising I forgot it!  But paper never spoils, right?

First up, one bright a cheerful plaid from The Stamp Market for Freshly Made Sketches #602 from Kim!

That cute little ghost is another image from the Waffle Flower Crafts Boo Bear
set I used yesterday!
I picked up this paper collection from the clearance section at The Stamp Market so I'm sure it's no longer available.  I loved that it had these cute tags and untraditional
Halloween colors and images, too!  They have a new one this year called Feelin' Spooky that will no doubt find its way here soon!
This one will head to my granddaughter who went off to college this year - and has been called 'boo' since Monster's Inc. days!

The next plaid is from MME - so old I don't even know what that stands for! Ha!  But I love the colors in this one so much... for Double D Fall Plaids!  here's a closeup:

Did you notice my PTI Pumpkins were stamped in brown on patterned paper?  All
were found in this same MME collection called Sunshine.

I better get these posted before I forget!  Have a great evening, my friends!

  2. I love the BOOtiful little card you created for your very own Boo, so sweet! Your second card has a lovely elegant vibe with the dramatic black frame and fancy patterned pumpkins. MME = My Mind's Eye. I have a few snippets of those very papers left from a 6x6 pad... it's OLD!!

  6. Well, you know I love plaid and you have two wonderful plaid creations here, Michele! It sure makes for a cute boo card for your own grown up and off-to-college Boo! I bask in the warmth and bounty of your autumn card with the pumpkins stamped directly onto the patterned paper. That worked out perfectly! I'm glad you came to play with us at Double D!

  9. I must have a barrel of plaid papers at home, some as old as your MME, Michele. It would be great to have them here so I can join in the challenge. I love your little Boo card. So sweet and non-scary. The pumpkins are exquisite in their patterns with the dark brown and that frame gathers them all in beautifully.

  11. Mad about all that plaid! You've shown how plaid can be cute or elegant, depending on the colors. My Mind's Eye was one of my fave paper companies and I should go through my stash for some plaid, too!

  14. I love both these cards, and the plaids chosen definitely reflect the card's tone -- great use of them. As for the "live"... do tell what I missed? Is it recorded?

  16. You are so right Michele, paper never spoils! LOL I love these plaids you found, they are fabulous doesn't matter that they are old. Your first card is such a CUTE CAS card, love the colors in that plaid paper. Your sweet little ghost is too cute on the sweet tag. But that second card, with the plaid....Oh my, I love that plaid! I love those pumpkins and the fact that you stamped them on pattern paper. I really thought it was dies cut out on pattern paper and placed on a dark brown base. Just a gorgeous fall card!
