I've been chasing those sweet purple Anemones that I stamped using my Altenew Stampwheel around my desk for too long! Purple flowers are purple flowers no matter what the type, right? I arranged three together and found the perfect stem from another Altenew set: Beautiful Lady - bonus points for finding a sentiment there, too!
From this...
I added a bit more color with Prisma pencils ...
Stamped my stem - masking the flower head...
and voila:
A bit of texture on a white base can't hurt!
Thanks, again Michelle Short, for the purple inspiration this month!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love, LOVE your style Michele??!! This card is absolutely STUNNING!! The centers of your flowers just amaze me with all the color, and I love just the outline of the stem against the stark white (and embossed) background! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your talent and yes I know it's a bad thing but I am so it's out there for all to see. Your colouring is exquisite as is the placement and the texture is just right. Another classy and frame-worthy piece of art Michele.

I do love how you have arranged the flowers at the top of the card. The stem works so well and the part embossed background finishes it of beautifully. Such great inspiration. Thank you xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of your supplies to create these beautiful anemones standing tall! I love a textured white base, too. I need to keep that in mind as my embossing folders are piling up unused, sheesh. I need to make some cards!
ReplyDeleteI love the extra color you added to the centers, Michele. That green really really pops with the orange and purple. That stem was a great discovery and looks wonderful holding up the blossoms.
ReplyDeleteYou rock everything you do Michele! I love the extra color on your beautifully stamped flowers. How well does that stem work?! I love this card, it is so gorgeous and elegant....just like always! Love the texture going diagonal so you have smooth and texture on the card. So pretty! Yep, you rock everything! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteTotally rocking Team Purple!
ReplyDeleteThey may have had to wait for a bit, but these beautiful purple flowers found a perfect home! Love the partial embossing with them!
ReplyDeleteThose blooms (with their extra fancy centers!) look like they were made for that stem! Fabulous card, Michele!
ReplyDeleteThose purple blooms with their souped up centers look fantastic on the stem, and yes, the texture in the background is marvelous.
ReplyDeleteGreat make using up your poor flowers being shuffled to and fro, they make a perfect bouquet!
ReplyDeleteOoh these flowers are so very striking and really pop against the white! Great job finding the perfect stem to match.
ReplyDeleteYou are “wheely” good at making gorgeous flowers!
