ASD Chrysanthemums!

I have two versions of similar cards for you today.  Both feature Alex Syberia Designs Chrysanthemums and dies - each card uses a different cover die.  Let me know if you have a favorite!

Alex's mums are a layering set, so I brought out my Stampwheel and followed some guidance from Altenew design team member Jaycee over on their YouTube channel using his recommended inks for my flowers:

and for their leaves...

ASD Tiny Dots Cover Die and some gorgeous dark teal card stock from
Concord & 9th:

Both of my sweet sentiments today are from her Tulips Treasure.

Up next, some brighter colors for these mums:

and leaves...

All arranged over ASD Floral Lattice Cover die:

Maybe because it's Summer - I think this one might be my favorite.

Hope you are looking forward to Friday - I have one more set of cards for you tomorrow from this wonderful prize!

  6. I love them both but I think the 1st one might be my favorite! I can see all the detail on the layers better on the first one and am just blown away by it!! But truly, both cards are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Michele!! Hugs. :0)

  7. Both are gorgeous, Michele, but I love the first one with the darker color in the nooks and crannies, and how they pop against that teal cardstock. Stunning!

  8. What stunning layered flowers! The color choices are perfect and how you lined these up so perfectly is amazing! I have such a hard time lining up layered floral stamps and stencils. As much as I love flowers, I just don't have the knack like you do. These are beautiful!

  9. Those big mums remind me of all of the homecoming corsages I've made! Two pretty cards, Michele. I think the second more summer version is my favorite too, but they're both wonderful!

  15. Both cards are fantastic, Michele! I would choose the first card in summer, and the second one in fall as my favorite! The layered stamping makes the flowers look so real and dimensional, and I love your choice of cover plate dies for the backgrounds.

  16. How absolutely beautiful. Such wonderful colors. I see all the flower farms in the garden state already preparing their chrysanthemum plants. Time does fly. Close to 100 degrees here for days now...

  17. Amazing detail in these layering stamps! I don't have any Alex Syberia products but might need to correct that oversight in the very near future!
