It's me stopping by to remind you that you have plenty of time to add your favorite to The Flower Challenge #81!
I did a massive reorganization in my craft studio recently and found another Altenew Tulip that hasn't been given enough attention - I fixed that today! You won't believe it: I used blue! a greyed-down shade from Altenew's Tranquility set combined with their old faithful Green Fields set of greens and of course a little grey!
I unapologetically used one of the gorgeous examples from their packaging/stamping guide with a little twist of my own by embossing [SU Subtle Texture] just the top of my panel before adding these fabulous Build-a-Flower Triumph Tulips.
Okay! There are lots of gorgeous reminders from my teammates and our guest Christine, too!
Don't wait another second... go! then MAKE! lol - thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteOh goodness, this is gorgeous Michele! I am loving those tulips, kinda looking like parrot tulips, but maybe not. LOL I was a bit shocked that you used blue, but you used beautiful shades of blue! Love the addition of the gray too. Just gorgeous! Now, I believe you told me to enter my card since it had flowers on it and I totally forgot! I am guess it is too late since I've posted two days ago. I don't remember things! Hugs, Brenda

Gorgeous card! You are the master at wonderfully effective use of background embossing folders! It's so subtle, but so effective. Congrats on your reorganization. First, because that is quite the feat, but second it helped you create this beauty! Crafty hugs!
ReplyDeleteSuper special! I love these colours!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhether your sentiment speaks to the recipient or the lovely blue tulips, it's spot on, Michele. I've never seen blue tulips so I googled them and they are a thing. None more beautiful than yours.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing shade of blue!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are as gorgeous as the sentiment! While blue may have taken you outside your box, you pulled it all together magnificently! Your Subtle folder is one of those I WISH I would've purchased - it just fits so many uses!
