I won a berry nice prize at Double D recently and if I hadn't already made my card for Playing Cards with Friends, this one would have been perfect for it! Thanks again, Dar & Diane!
Aren't those berries amazing? I can't take any of the credit! It is a color layering set from Hero Arts and I LOve the sentiment!
My card panel is an oldie but goodie die from Reverse Confetti and represents one of those little green plastic containers that strawberries used to come in at the grocery store before someone thought the clear 'clamshell' boxes were a better idea... they're not!
I'm sharing this one with those sweet gals at The Four Seasons - Anything Goes SUMMER! Summer = shortcake to me!
Thanks for all the kindness yesterday my friends - you made me smile through my melancholy!

Congratulations on your win and yes, those berries are amazing. I don't think I have ever seen a layered stamp set that gives such good results. Love the background and how you have picked p the green too xx
ReplyDeleteSeriously these look good enough to eat!! Maybe, I need to go eat brekky now lol.
ReplyDeleteTerrific strawberries and green basketry! Hero Arts has amazing layering stamps. Shortcake is often our Father's Day treat to really begin the summer right.
ReplyDeleteOur strawberry lady has been loading strawberries in those green baskets! We have quite a stack of them. They never want them back. These strawberries look real enough to pick off the card, Michele! What an awesome job you've done with these!

ReplyDeleteNow these look like Michigan strawberries and NOT Meijer ones!! Loving the bright green and red color combo too...such a yummy looking card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteThese berries are AMAZING! They look like they could pop right off the card and into my mouth! YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteI never met a berry I didn't like, but oh these look absolutely scrumptious! The green lattice background compliments them beautifully, and I LOVE the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteWow, those berries look amazing and so real Michele!!! I was just snacking on some strawberries. LOL I love this stamp set, it is so beautiful and realistic looking, but even more so, I love that cute sentiment!! You have done the old containers baskets wonderfully, I sure don't know who thought it was a good idea to put them in plastic, the old containers were degradable, plastic is not! I adore this card and your win!!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeletePerfection! Just....perfection!!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful surprise, and such an amazing stamp set -- wow! I think I need a napkin now...
